This book got my three year old writing and trying to read.There should be a leapfrog pen and this book in all pre-schools. A brilliant, fun, and, most of all, engaging book.

Love the LeapfrogReader series, this book my Granddaughter who is 4 finds a little hard to use so im going to order the abc book instead but this is still a good book and will be better for her when shes slightly olderLo

Very pleased with my purchase
Very pleased with my purchase. Only down side is i should have purchased a Leapreader pen when ordering this as this is required. Kids wer a bit disappointed as they couldn't use it today.

Great for kids! Awesome for education!
WE LOVE LEAPREADER! from ages 2-6 this is a great program and all our kiddos enjoy it! Our son who is 3 and struggling with a speach impediment has benifited the most. He loves to "read" the books and they have helped him pronounce words much better!

Didn't hold my kids' interest for very long
Two of my children are in the suggested age range for this product, 4 and 6 years old, and they are just not interested. They had the most fun opening the box when the postman delivered it, and everything went downhill from there. Despite two parents and a grandparent at different times trying to engage the children in playing with the LeapReader, it's now on the shelf underneath the coffee table, in easy reach of any child who would like to play with it.I will update this review (either positively or otherwise) after other children in the family come over to visit and have a chance to play with the LeapReader. For now, this one's a bust.
