There were only two on Amazon that were the best when comparing. Glad I chose this one. The other one had more reviews, but this one looked better overall, especially once I saw a video on YouTube for it. Smart decision on my part, because this thing did an excellent job. Made it so easy and they never slipped once. Stayed firm when pulling the shock coil springs together. It made for a quick and easy job. Fit perfectly! Don't hesitate. Just buy it and you'll find out just like I did. I needed these for my polaris 800 efi 4 wheeler front end rebuild. I did research to find the best & safest design. I've had other designs let go in the middle of a car spring compression & nearly kill sombody! So this jaw lock on compression design was my 1st choice for coil spring compression. I used it right after it was delivered and it was easy ,had a quick to the point mini instruction sheet, They worked fast & flawlessly! I was impressed with the jaws no slip, secure lock on design. I also liked the clean & heavily lubricated, heavy duty construction, nice moulded hd storage box. It comes with the 2 hd coil spring compressors, cross brace, all screws needed for cross brace, also comes with a 19mm chromed socket for the compressors & an allen wrench for the braces hd screws & believe it or not a pair of hd non slip rubber coated work gloves! Yes! I highly recomend this kit even without the gloves, Also the price was great, you would pay 4 times this amount at any tool shop

Very happy with the quality. I felt very safe using the tool. It was easy to use even with a simple ratchet wrench, only requiring a handful of minutes to fully compress the springs on the struts for my Ford Fiesta.

Much higher quality and felt much much safer when compared to a discount version of this tool purchased from a local tool store. I used it to replace my stock Honda Acty front springs with a heavier duty (300lbs) version. Worked like a charm. Love the added safety of the spanning bar

It does what is supposed to do. Pretty safe when used correctly. So far I'm satisfied.
