Good value. Main light has a wide range of brightness and is much brighter than expected. I highly recommend this product.

Really good and flexible

I loved this for travel. The flashlight is great for finding things in your bag, or just general flashlight tasks when traveling. The bulb feature was great for winding down at the end of the day. I find that many hotel lamps don't have switches easily accessible from the bed. When I stay with friends I don't even have that option for light. The ability to coil this up made for a nice side table light when in bulb mode. Decent weight. Durable. I wish the unit was dimmable to allow you to save the battery even more, and that it had a cloth protective/carrying case. A little on the pricey side. I do love that it's USB. It's 2023 people. Stop making devices with micro-USB.

I like that this product is a bright flexible snake light that you can use in a variety of ways around the house and your car. It does a great job of providing light while working under the hood of a car at night using either the small directional light or the larger bright area light.The bright area light has been used by my family to light up a dark closet that doesn’t have an overhead light.The small directional light has also been used to to brighten up the space underneath the kitchen sink while working on the garbage disposal.A nice additional feature of this bright snake light is that a USB charging cable is provided to charge the snake light.

So when my wife reads in bed, there are times that i want to goto sleep before her but since I'm a light sleeper her lights keeps me awake.I saw this and I thought this would be great, a light she can use to read but not so bright that it keeps me awake. I like how it's flexible and you can configure it how you want.Also, the directional and flood lights makes this flexible for many uses.Plus:1. The directional and flood lights2. able to control the brightness for the flood light (which is the bulb)3. Snake configuration, as you can see in my pictures, can stand on it's own or wrap itself up4. MultipurposeNegative:1. the Directional light, not able to control brightness.2. I would like a second button which controls brightness. you have to press the on/off switch to control the flood light brightness3. The charging light does not work. It's suppose to be red when charging and green when fully charged. My charging light does not workI like this light despite some design/engineering tweaks that I think B&D should consider, which is why it's just a four star. The flexibility of this light makes is a good purchase for many uses around the house.2.

I ordered the BLACK+DECKER Snake Light. It is February 10, 2023. Let's see if it passes The Final Test!+1) The "snake" coil on this thing is actually really good. It's not one of those stainless steel braids or the weird foam sections that resemble the Michelin Man. This is a fabric weave that is super pleasant to touch. The coil doesn't require too much force to manipulate yet has enough rigidity to stay together and not flop.+2) It's rechargeable and USB-C which are both huge plusses in my world.+3) The two flashlights are well thought out. At one end of the light, there's a more focused, almost inspection light type of flashlight (directional light). And then the more obvious warm area light (which is the only one that is dimmable) (space light).4) The coil itself (minus light bodies) is roughly 22 inches long, with the fully extended tip-to-tip length being roughly 26 inches.$$) Here's the biggest drawback. At $35, this thing is WAY overpriced. Honestly anything above $20 for this is paying too much, and the lowest I've seen it go is ... $35.YES, It can sit around your neck as a sort of "work" lightNO, The USB-C port canNOT be used to charge external devices.YES, The 15 hr and 4.5 hr times that are noted are accurateNO, snakes were not harmed in the creation of this product.This item earned a B for Exceeding Expectations, Bravo! However, do consider the steep price-tag for something like this prior to purchasing.

This light has come in handy many times. As my eyes are getting older, I sometimes feel I need a brighter light to work on things. I have used it for reading and for working. I do a lot of small projects and having the directional end was a great help for me. I like how i can position it differently to my current needs. It is bright and love that it is rechargeable.

This is a cleverly designed light that is very useful for working in dark places - basements or attics. Anywhere dark basically. There are two light. Both are useful and the flexi design means you can use it anywhere. It can be wrapped around beams. Or made to stand on the floor. Charges via usb. Not overly fast but it does last a good while. So, while I little expensive I was happy with this purchase. It’s one of those well made tools you know you’ll still have in ten years or more. And how often can you say that these days?
