These slate coasters were beautiful. They were a great price for 36 true slate coasters with 3 holders. The coasters came packaged well ensuring no breakage when delivered. I do suggest opening them on top of a towel or plastic bag because they are real slate and tiny pieces of dust come of upon original opening. It made for easier clean up after assembling.

These are very solid slate coasters. I use them to laser on. You will definitely want to test your design as there could be some fading of the design once moisture from a drink is applied. I have had no problems lasering them. They were packaged well and I had no broken coasters. I will be purchasing these again.

I just bought a 10W diode laser and, like you, watched a lot of Youtube videos on what I can do with it. So, I'm trying anything and everything. I purchased these slate coasters and to my suprise, they required no prepping. Yes, Im an amatuear. But I've already printed and given some of these coasters as gifts. Can take out of the packaging and place right onto your laser print board. Heavy enough you don't need to secure them down. I used Lightburn to print on these coasters. Print test will help you determine best speed and power for best results.They are fragile and will chip or break if you drop them. Each coaster comes with the foam pads already glued to bottoms. I only wish they had more coasters holders, as I gift them out in sets of 4. I figure that part out. I will be ordering more of these coaster sets in the future. Cant beat the cost for 36 coasters or nine sets of 4 for 9 gifts. Rock Star!!! Oh Yeah!

Way better quality than others on Amazon. Paying a few extra dollars for the thicker quality is worth it especially with getting the coaster holders, which makes a nice touch when given for a gift (once engraved).

Perfect for engraving with my 12w diode laser. Was able to make custom sets of coasters for Christmas gifts. Coasters are good size, appropriately rough surface (my preference vs. overly smooth), and come with rubber feet already installed.
