AILA is an outstanding virtual preschool learning system!
As a parent, discovering the AILA virtual preschool learning system has been a game-changer for my 18-month-old son's early education journey. AILA truly stands out as a top-tier platform that adapts seamlessly to my child's unique learning style, providing an engaging and personalized learning experience that goes beyond traditional educational tools. One of the most impressive features of AILA is its ability to adapt to each child's learning preferences. It's like having a virtual teacher who understands and caters to my son's individual needs. The platform recognizes that learning should be tailored, and I've noticed that as my son interacts with the system, it gets better at delivering content that matches his interests and pace.Screen time management is a concern for many parents, and AILA tackles this challenge head-on. The system's thoughtful approach ensures that screen time is both educational and well-managed. It's reassuring to know that my son is engaging with content that is not only enriching but also designed to capture his attention without overexposing him to screens.AILA's curated content is where the magic happens. The incorporation of interactive stories featuring adorable animal friends adds an extra layer of engagement and excitement for little learners. My son's ability to recognize and name at least five letters at just 18 months is a testament to the effectiveness of AILA's educational content. Moreover, the platform promotes active participation and learning through play. The interactive nature of the activities encourages my son to explore, experiment, and discover concepts at his own pace. This hands-on approach ensures that he's not only learning but also enjoying the process.AILA's commitment to early childhood education is evident in its user-friendly interface, vibrant visuals, and well-structured curriculum. An amazing way to connect while they learn
There are a lot of tools out there to help you teach your child at home but none that I've seen aimed at this very early age group. This, all by itself, is enough to pique a parent's curiosity. But it does so many other things well, too. When you open it, it's sturdy and well made. It feells like something that is meant to be a part of your child's life. It sets up fairly easily and it seems reasonable that this would be something that could entertain a child well. You might think, "hey mission accomplished."Within just a couple sessions, though, it becomes obvious that this is somethiing different. It's not a tablet, a child can use it before their motor skills are sufficient to tap or click. Instead, it communicates with them, lettiing them respond naturally. It knows when your child is clapping, waving, carrryng out all the goals it sets. The end result is a pretty remarkable progress, almost right away, as the child dives into playtime with the animal friends on animal island, singing, dancing, and reciting letters and words that are immediately startling, for a parent like me who is reallly excited to hear a 12-month-old working with numbers and letters. The app that comes with is what really makes this a different experience, though. It lets parents send messages to their child to make them laugh, see the child's face, geet feedback from thee sessions, etc. This is more information than I got from my older children's grade schools.I look forward to seeing how far this goes, especially since it's touted as an 18 month long program. , But right out of the gate, it just works. I wonder what will be happening a year and a half from now?

Kids enjoy it, most content is adequate, design is the biggest flaw. UPDATE: yoga removed!
UPDATE #2: Changed from a two star to a four star review. The yoga and chanting references have been removed just as they said. Thank you AILA. My kids can now enjoy the content without those references. Superb customer service at AILA. UPDATE: There is an issue with the content as it promotes yoga/Hinduism/Buddhism/Jainism. At the end of a learning session, Mr Goose says, "Now it's time to rest. Take a deep breath in, let it out. Good, now listen ..." During this, he makes the hand sign of Gyan Mudra (or Chin Mudra) and then sits down (it is not shown how he is seated but even sitting down crossed legs is still the yoga practice of sukhasana). My issue is not with relaxing, it is with the yoga reference. Yoga is meant to be a spiritual practice in Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. The hand sign (and sitting position) is meant to be a spiritual gesture and has spiritual meaning within those religions. At best the educators/animators who created Animal Island have no idea what they are promoting and at worst they are intentionally promoting those religions. In addition, Mr Frog also uses the word "chant" when describing the Pat-A-Cake nursery rhyme. They could have used many other words such as' rhyme', 'vocalize', 'recite' or 'say' instead of 'chant' as 'chanting' is more associated with religion than with reciting a nursery rhyme (at least to me it is). As a child, in school I never heard a teacher tell me to "chant" a nursery rhyme so while the use of the word 'chant' is technically correct it is still a bit suspect due to the promotion of yoga. I want others to know what is contained in the content. If you have no problem with yoga the animation/content will not bother you; however, if you have an issue with yoga (as I do) you may want to avoid this product until the animation is revised. I brought these concerns to AILA and they responded politely and professionally. Good customer service even if there is a disagreement. AILA said they would be revising the animation; however, that has yet to be done.ORIGINAL: The educational content is adequate, my girls ages 3 and 5 enjoy it. They like the songs and are getting used to it. They sing along and recite some of the stories/content. The 5 year old can navigate the touch screen. I am looking forward to the content becoming a little more challenging but it is fine for right now and for their ages. The character voices are good. The animation is decent and the colors are bright. My 5 year old likes the book and is actively reading it, glad it was included in this set. DESIGN: It topples too much (top heavy) if little hands aren't careful (or big man hands just trying to pick the darn thing up LOL) and I am assuming the stand will fix that - but for an extra $50? It should have been designed with a wider stand already built in but then I guess they could not charge an extra $50 for an add on LOL. Then of course is the 'cuddle case' for an extra $40 to help protect around the edge of the screen. It could have been designed with a little more protection around the screen but again, if it was, you would not have to spend more $$ to protect the item from getting damaged. The AILA site also does not have a screen protector available anymore.

Not interactive in the way u may think...
UPDATE*** i decided to email animal island aila website directly and they were more than helpful on top of the problems we were having came about 3 more problems and they actually sent us a whole new tablet and let us keep the old one given its having so mqny problems and is stuck on the few learning lessons my oldest doesnr have to worry about his little brother ripping his tablet away anymore because they can both hold oneπ also they let me know that they do plan on coming out with an interactive tablet so if that's what u are looking for I would wait and buy It once it's released I will for sure be buying it once it comes out all in all happy with their customer service!!I wanted to wait to write a review we received this on march 3rd I want to start by saying this may not be what everyone is expecting for one) its NOT an interactive tablet as in your child helps choose the item like what 'color' something is the only part that is interactive in that way is literally turning on this thing so I already hate it as we spent 300 for something that I believe wasnt very explained on here it acts like what we were thinking was exactly what it was but NO anyways we decided to keep it to try and help our son anyways. Now I'm really furious because 2) the volume doesnt always work I'll have to restart this thing ALL the TIME and that frustrates my son waiting 10 minutes for it to start back up SLOWLY and now 3) when I go to plug it in to charge THE CHARGING HOLE is loose and I've had phones like this before in the past I already know it's not gonna last long NO my kids dont mess with the charger for those that may assume I have a 2 and 1 year old and I dont want them choking themselves with cords. But furthermore now when I plug it in at night sometimes I have to position the cord just right to even get it to charge πππππ I wish I wouldn't have spent 300 on this thing I'm beyond irritated but it's been a month so what can I even do? Nothing just thought I would share for others who didnt know it was interactive IN THAT WAY or choosing the answers on the """games"""" and also the flaws it may or may not have for others I cant believe I just spent 300 on something that's already about to be done for and we've only been using it less than 2 months AWESOME IDEA AILA poor execution.

Not sturdy enough for small toddlers.
Update: I added two stars because I discovered that they sell shock absorbing cases and soft suction cup bases for this tablet that I didn't realize they had before. So I'm glad they have a plan for how you can protect this very expensive toddler system. My children love it top. They don't like a lot of learning software but this one really catches their attention. Both my 5 year old and my 1Β½ year old love it.Original review: The content of the videos is age appropriate but the hardware is not. For the price it's very disappointing. My toddler chucked this thing across the floor and it broke the first time. The hole front of the screen snapped off. I was able to reattach the screen mostly but the case is hard plastic and now it has a crack that prevents me from reattached the screen all the way. I know it sounds ridiculous to complain that an electronic broke when thrown, but this thing says it's meant for children 1 to 3 years old. Throwing things is common for kids that age. It needs a much sturdier case to protect it or the product becomes obsolete. Because keeping it out of a toddler's reach so that they can't throw it makes it so they can't watch it. It's not like it has a way to strap it down to something. If they can't even watch it what is the point of having it? How are they even supposed to use it. Or is this product only meant for those toddler unicorns that simply never throw things? I'm very sad. We've had this thing for a day and it's already broken.
