Eco-Friendly Magic Laundry Washing Machine Clean & Soften Clothes Wash Ball - 1000 Washes

We have used for a couple of weeks and so far so good.Unlike many other reviews, this came with full English instructions though in reality not needed.In short put it in your machine in place of detergent and fabric softener with up to 3kg of laundry and hit the start button.Before we used for the first time we performed a cleaning cycle/programme that our washing machine has to ensue all detergent residue was gone.For the first few washes we left the rinse cycles on but quickly realised that as we are not adding detergent to the wash then 4 or 5 rinses per wash are not needed. We now omit these (1 rinse only) and save a whole bunch of time and water on each wash with no noticeable difference on cleanliness.As for how well it cleans..... we have a 7yo whose schools' motto seems to be wear white and if you go home with less than 60 different stains then its been a bad day! Tomato/ketchup seems to be the most difficult one for these to cope with. The colour fades but does not disappear. That in mind we do occasionally have to use a bio detergent to remove fully every half term!Her polo shirts come out soft and clean and are noticeably whiter on low temperatures (30c). I have yet to try lower 20c and the cold wash with it yet. But when I do I shall update. *March 2019 update* Cold and 20 degree washes seem fine on clothes that are not totally dreadful, heavily soiled come out best at 40.Darks and brights have come out just as good in all respects.Bamboo fibre towels have washed well and feel softer that when washed with detergent. I believe the action of the ball pummelling the fabric during the wash may also be a factor in this.The only thing I miss (but my wife does not) is the lack of scent from a fabric conditioner. That said the washing does have clean freshness about it that is pleasant.I have one little concern about electricity use by doing many small washes; where logic has always dictated that 1 big wash is more economical. Therefore I have purchased 2 more so can experiment with a full 9kg load... my thinking is 9kg machine plus 3x balls (1 ball per 3kg). What's the worst that can happen?! *March 2019 update* So I purchased another 2 balls for bigger loads and I see no difference in wash quality. It is important to ensure the load has space to move and tumble just as with regular detergent. For us that seems to be about an 8 to 8.5kg mixed load in a 9kg machine.In summary great for small loads, and if you buy more balls for bigger loads it has got to be good for the environment and for the pocket too!June 2020 update.The original 3 balls have come to the end of their useful life after about 18 months... the innards have got too small to be retained in the balls and are rattling around the drum!!! so purchased another 2 as replacements. Our use of these has changed. Really dirty (fishing clothes, muddy gardening stuff etc) or the need to be sterile (kitchen whites) get washed with bio powder and fabric conditioner, but pretty much everything else gets these eco balls used. Genuinely towels are softer and am using less chemicals. Especially good as we are off mains sewer and have a domestic sewage plant.

Like this type of product and how eco they are. I am allergic to conventional detergents and so these have a lot to recommend them as they are ideal for me and they work really well, even in a cold wash as well as for hand-washing. I don't like artificial scents and washing just smells fresh and clean. That's how I like it.

I've been using this little beauty for around a month now. I'm so impressed with It. I was reluctant to buy it because I didn't think it would be any good and I also thought I'd still have to add fabric softener to the wash. How wrong I was! This little ball does the lot and I'm so very pleased with it. Originally, I bought it because washing powder has gone so expensive and also I wanted to prolong the life of my washing machine. I believe washing powders and other detergents can clog up the machine over time and therefore damage a washing machine. So......I bought one of these balls. After using it for around a month now, I can seriously say WOW! I am impressed. So far its brought out a tiny red wine stain, cleaned grubby socks,removed a cola stain AND even a tumaric stain all on a 30 degree 30 min quick wash. I can't believe it. It does recommend that you use a stain remover as well as the ball on stubborn stains but so far mine had work all by itself. I love it. It also brings the clothes out feeling really soft. I can't describe the smell of the clothes really. They don't seem to have a smell as such but more of a freshness about them. I'd give this little ball 10/10. There's only one downside to it, my poor little elderly dog thinks its his. Ha ha and I have to keep it in the machine even when not in use,otherwise he'd have it. ;) I will definitely replace it when it runs out. I researched it before I bought it and I believe that they last for 1,000 washes when used at 30 degrees and on a quick wash. I must state that all the instructions are foreign. What instructions do you need though? You just put your washing into your machine and place the echo ball on top. Simple. Highly recommended!

Great at washing all kinds of mixed washes. Very good results with both polys and cottons. Removes all dirt and leaves clothes very soft.The only negative points are ----- ball is way to big for the average narrow washing machine drum and it makes a hell of a noise banging against the glass and metal drum. It needs to be half the current size.Also your laundry has a metal magnet smell when removed after the wash. I have to add some kind of softener just to get a nicer scent to clothing.

Well ive used it several times before writing this as I hate reviews written based on first viewing.This is a great way to save money. Easy to use and good results. I still have to give it an extra rinse due to sensitive skin but I was doing that with my old "sensitive" washing powders.Definitely a good buy and when its all used up, I'm sure it'll make a great base for a home made Christmas decoration.

I have been using this since May. I even took it to Australia on holiday. It won't remove tough stains e.g. grass. blood, mens collars but neither will most powders, they need pre treatment. I use white bedlinen which has remained white, and our other clothes seem fine. Negatives are there is no smell and when they give the number of washes the ball does they don't count the rinses. So it doesn't make it so economic unless you can hang around to remove it after the wash cycle. It does go towards the environment though.As my machine is large and the instructions for the ball says 3kg, if I have a big wash I use two, which again makes it less economical. So why do I use it and not liquids, powders? Well it keeps my machine cleaner, helps the environment and my grandson approves

La uso muchísimo, incluso me la llevo en los viajes. Tengo niños pequeños y me limpia la ropa bien. La compre porque en el último embarazo tome fastidio a los olores de todos los jabones de ropa y fue mi solución. Echo suavizante para un aroma suave pero la recomiendo mucho. Es un gran ahorro para la economía familiar tb

War bis jetzt mit dem Waschergebnis sehr zufrieden. Leider ist die Waschkugel jetzt nach 5 Monaten aufgebrochen. Alle Kugeln haben sich in der Waschmaschine und der Kleidung verteilt.

Funziona molto bene, basta metterla nella lavatrice, se i panni sono molto sporchi bisogna pre trattare o mettere un po' di detersivo. Il profumo e delicato. La consiglio
