just point it wherever and press and its then red. using for a small parting on my hair - and so far after spray and brush its ok.

Didn't seem to get lots in the can & my daughter has blonde hair so wasn't a hard colour to cover! She loved it for school dress up day...until it look around 6 washes to get the majority of it out!!!
