Expect lower quality
For the price, you get what you get. The gaiwan I received has a glaze bubble under the lid, rough edges on the lid which I filed smooth with the saucer rim, don’t even mention a light off-fit when cover the cup, a speckle of something dark (I bought the all white) on the underside of the saucer, as well as visible pooled/dripped glazing on the saucer. The quality control is lacking, or the seller is selling off-quality stock at cheaper prices. Hence the title of my review.
