Quality item ideal for carrying around in a daily sketching kit, A6 and 130lb means it is ideal for pencil, pen and light washes. Not sure how tough the cover will be long term but time will tell.

Exactly what I wanted and way cheaper that lesser quality notepads/sketchpads.The paper is a little smoother than expected so it does require a little more pressure when writing or drawing with pencil, but that is probably only something I've noticed after switching from a notepad with coarse paper.The binding is very good and unlikely to fall apart, there is also a small pocket on the inside of the back cover which is great and will save any loose paper from falling out.My only critique would be to place the elastic band horizontal so a pen or pencil can be strapped to the spine of the notepad.

I LOVE these journals, I have several in different sizes. I wanted to try art journalling without buying an expensive book that I dare not use in case I 'spoiled it' The Seawhite journals are perfect!. Great quality creamy paper that handles gesso well and does not buckle. I've used ink, paint, (not spray inks as yet) and the pages have stood up to it all, and just as importantly so has the binding. These books are sturdy and so are the bindings, no falling out pages here. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who want to art journal without the high price tag of the more 'fashionable' brands.

Perfect size for travel

Just right for your handbag. Paper is good quality, lovely to use.

The picture is misleading - it looks like a sketchbook with just blank pages, but it has alternate lined and blank paper inside. At first I was disappointed as I wanted just a sketchbook for my holiday, but now I like the idea as a travel journal.Lines aren't necessary for writing, but it's nice to have the structure of writing on one side and drawing opposite it. Or mix it up - draw over the lines and write on the blank pages.. or whatever!So yeah, better quality pictures and more accuracy in descriptions please.

Good for the price. OK for dry media but I didn't find the surface tough enough for anything but the gentlest of washes and especially the Pitt brush pens I use quite a bit.
