Is this good for recording vocals in a studio?

It won't give the same 'big' sound that a USB Condenser Mic will, but it should be ok to use if you are playing live with a band. The USB condenser mic would need sound isolation as they pick up the sound of a pin drop on the other side of the room as they are very sensitive. If you have other instruments around you then this will probably work ok. Use of a thin pop shield made from something like a duster or pair of tights over the mic top does cut down background noise and vocal sibilants. I've used Shure SM57s in a studio and they work well - I recommend using an XLR to XLR lead into the mixing desk for best line sound balance. These AKGs are nice units and I have used them live, I used an SM57 but now use AKGP3's for vocals and acoustic instruments. Hope this helps.

Does this microphone have reverb on it

No it doesn't, you'd need to have an external effects unit or a mixer with an effects loop with reverb on to achieve that. I did use mine with a Zoom 3000 reverb unit using XLR to 1/4 jack into the Zoom and a 1/4 jack to XLR to a Behringer amplifier. I have used this microphone live and in practices and it is better than s Shure SM58 in my opinion.
