COBI 5537 Small Army Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero Plane, Green

I am a long time Lego fan and builder, so I was very apprehensive on Cobi, and waited a very long time before I purchased my first kit. With that being said I am sorry I waited so long. These kits are very well constructed, the directions are very straight forward, and the completed pieces are very well represented.Lego has always said they would never produce "weapons of war" kits, and that leaves a huge hole for us that like history. Cobi has definitely picked that up and have produced very well done kits for very inexpensive prices. I would dare to guess if Lego produced the same kit it would be at least three times more expensive than they are now. As more and more people discover Cobi I anticipate the resale value to continue to rise. These really are well put together pieces and well represent the item they are trying to portray.I would HIGHLY recommend this Cobi kit to any person who likes history and enjoys building Lego's.

It is so cool! It’s bigger than I expected, which I like. (Quarter in picture to show size) The directions were kinda confusing sometimes. It was missing a single piece but it is a tiny one that did not affect the end result.BUT OVER ALL IT IS GREAT !!

7 year old put it together with some assistance from an adult. These planes look so good and they come with a display stand that makes them look quite nice, when on display. Stand is easily removed and reinserted if you want to look at the plane. They assemble almost exactly like the leading brand and they're actually nicer looking!

Beautiful set of the Zero. Has a beautiful shade of green and nicely rounded drop tank. Box came in good condition with no dents or scratches. Fantastic Cobi set for play or display!

Looks great when finished. A nicer build than the original Zero kit.

The Zero had a fearsome rep in the early part of WW2. This model doesn't quite have the same verve as the earlier white model, but it's still a fun build.

Cobi, bietet hier ein gute alternative zum Marktführer Lego an, die Steine sind sehr passgenau, was nicht immer von Vorteil ist, und haben den Look sehr ähnlich dem bekannten Steinen von Lego. Die Bauanleitung ist sehr solide gestaltet, verfolgt eine andere Strategie als bekannte Lego Bauanleitungen, außerdem gibt es Teile bzw. längen von Teilen, die es bei Lego nicht gibt, was einem zusätzlich verwirren kann, ist aber nach kurzem umdenken gut zu meistern.Die Teile halten sehr gut, das ist wohl der hohen Passgenauigkeit geschuldet, was wiederum ein trennen der Teile sehr schwierig gestaltet, hier braucht es unbedingt einen Teiletrennen, denn das Material ist wesentlich weicher als sein Lego Äquivalent, was leicht zu "Schäden" wie Kratzer oder Verformungen führen kann. Auch sind die Gusspunkte oft deutlich zu erkennen und zwingen einem vor allem Fliesen sehr geschickt anzuordnen, so dass keine unschönen Stellen entstehen.Das Modell, ist schlicht ein Modell, man kann damit natürlich spielen, was es auch wunderbar aushält, ist aber eher in der Kategorie - Plastikmodellbau ala Revell anzusiedeln, denn in der Klemmbausteinwelt. Es gibt viele "Sonderteile" die es sehr glatt und Modellartig wirken lassen und nicht wie ein Klemmbaustein Modell.Nun noch zu der Figur, diese hat einen recht eigenwilligen Look und gefällt sicher nicht jedem, ich persönlich habe sie auch nicht im Cockpit belassen sondern mir einen Platz am Sockel freigebaut an dem sie verweilen kann und hier einen guten Eindruck macht.Alles in allem liefert Cobi hier ein gutes Produkt, was aber eben kein klassisches Klemmbaustein Modell ist, sondern eher ein Plastikmodell - wenn ich das weiß und akzeptiere, dann ist es das Perfekte Modell für mich.

Veramente bello, si presenta molto bene come al solito nei nodelli cobi ed è anche molto dettagliato.Ottimo per esposizione, penso un po’ meno per giocarci (bambini) perchè alcune parti sono ancorate non troppo saldamente e tende a smontarsi se maneggiato con poca attenzione, comunque 5 stelle se le merita anche solo per il rapporto prezzo - estetica.

Une fois fini, ça a beaucoup de présence. Le plastique est de bonne qualité, les assemblages précis, presque de même qualité que Lego. La finition est impeccable. Le rendu du dessous est un compromis acceptable en jeu de construction et maquette.Une étoile en moins à cause du pilote : tête de mort-vivant et proportion de Quasimodo. Il est avantageusement remplacé par une minifig Lego et des accessoires d'artisan américains spécialistes d'armes, ou si vous voulez faire beaucoup moins cher, une minifig militaire d'un clôneur chinois (à moins de 2 eur livré chez vous). Le jaune du bord d'attaque est un peu translucide et aurait pu être plus franc dans la masse, même si on a vu ce même type de problème chez Lego (sur le rouge et le gris).
