This juicer is amazing do not be put off by the cheap price it is an utter bargain!
The media could not be loaded. I started juicing with a tefal which was on special last year. It was horrid to clean and got clogged a lot. After much research I got an atlas whole which worked pretty well and is enormously popular but I found it jammed a lot, which is kind of scary. I saw this juicer and the cheap price point, the totally different chute loader and wondered if it could possibly be any good.It arrived a week ago and was next day delivered by parcelforce it came direct from fralli as I had a lengthy conversation and asked numerous questions before deciding to have this one. I unboxed it and it was well packaged "put together" ready to go.I notice it does NOT come with the coarse strainer that most juicers come with (that I never ever use) but at this price I don't expect it to.I was amused when I first took it apart to clean it to realise that the paddles around the press mesh are fixed and don't come off, but this is NOT the issue I thought it might be in regards cleaning the item! It has very little residue left inside it and what there is comes off easily with little effort, you will be scrubbing the mesh but that is no different to any other masticating juicer though I will add the brush seems to be wearing well with this one and fits perfectly. When I did my first juice (some ginger shots which are 80% apple and 20% ginger) I decided to put it head to head with my atlas whole and the results are below, the Berg produced more juice than my Atlas (which cost over £100 more).I was very keen to put some beetroot through as this almost always will be what caused jams in my Atlas, this juicer did it with ease, it didn't even slow which leads me to believe the motor is far far more powerful. It gobbles up carrots and gives around 600ml per kg of carrots. We have tried multiple juices with both soft and hard produce and also leafy greens it has coped admirably with everything thrown at it and due to the nifty loader it’s far easier to load it and stuff needs much less chopping. When juicing romaine we cut it into bunches, put a bunch through then alternate it with whatever else is going into the juice apple / cucumber whatever, this applies to all juicers.Clean up is relatively quick and easy in comparison to others we have had.On the whole I’m very impressed with the juicer and at the considerably cheaper price point I think you’d be nuts to spend more and get less. You can see videos on YouTube we made of actually making juices and washing it up search for Berg J250 (Amazon seem to destroy video quality)PLEASE ask any questions if you'd like a specific answer to anything :)

Berg juicer - great value for money.
Love it. Some say that pressure can build causing cracking in the top, but I've never had an issue. I would say that consistent juice is best produced when you cut the veg into manageable chunks, one to two cm. I find that they get pulled into the auger more easily. I have lobbed whole apples and half carrots in and they do get juiced but I've found you tend to get more residue left. You must remember to put the silicone grommits back otherwise pulp doesn't clear properly and you also get leakage.

The juicer produces really good juice. Filter is perhaps not the easiest to ...
The food chute broke after the first week (beetroot being juiced). Contacted the seller and the response and service were exceptional. Replacement item was despatched quickly. The juicer produces really good juice. Filter is perhaps not the easiest to clean.

Juicer works great for a while then the top will crack
Juicer works great for a while then the top will crack. It is caused by the pulp not clearing, it builds up under the auger causing pressure on the flimsy plastic top casing which cracks. The first time customer services replaced foc. But the 2nd time they won't even reply to my emails. I have repaired the two cracked tops but the same problem persists. There is a design flaw with this product.

great product
I was using a standard Andrew James juicer before making the step up to this one as the cost is a lot more. I juice 2/3 times a day and this machine is absolutely fab. It is very quiet, you can insert whole fruit, the juice is very tasty and the pulp conveniently comes out the side tube into a bowl/bag. It is however a bit more fiddly to clean but so worth it for what you are getting. Would highly recommend this product - juice on :-)

It wasn't meant to be
From the beginning I was very happy with the kind of juice it produced. Kale and any kind of leaves seemed to squeeze the juice out of it with ease. I chopped any fruit and vegetables in order to lengthen its life, but it didn't work. Suddenly one day, stopped and strangled itself and cracked, see picture. Very disappointed.

Jucier cracked
I find this jucier pretty good, however during one of my jucing sessions the feeder cracked I wanted a replacement part, however I was told that I would need to return the whole item and purchase it again. When I was about to purchase the same item again it had gone up by £10 that stopped me from making the purchase as I felt hard done by. Looking at other juciers now.

Love it!
I have only had this juicer a few days but I love it already. It is so easy to use, dismantle and put back together. It has perfectly juiced everything I have put through, including lettuce, kale, spinach etc.It does seem faster than 33 rpm so there is not as much waiting around as I thought there would be.I love the fact that you can make enough for three days in one batch. Great product.
