The quality of this dress is amazing. I knew it would be beautiful but it really is gorgeous. It fits perfectly. The size chart is your friend on this one. I was skeptical because I’m small but I went with the guide and it did me so right. I can’t wait to wear this tomorrow and post the photos on this review after. Just breathtaking! And comfortable! Soft and heavy like I expect velvet to be and perfect for a chilly November wedding!

This was the most perfect dress to wear for our fall family pictures. I wore it again to a wedding. It’s definitely wearable to multiple occasions. It looks great in pictures. I definitely recommend this dress if you’re looking for something nice and comfortable to wear. It’s true to size!

The MEROKEETY Women's V Neck Wrap Velvet Maxi Dress is beautiful, comfortable, and stretchy. It fits really well and has a flattering shape. However, the only downside is that it picks up a lot of lint, which can be a bit annoying. Otherwise, it’s a great dress for any occasion!

12/01/23 UPDATE:I loved the black so much I went back for the GREEN as well, again in a LARGE, but this time I got it way cheaper for Black Friday. Now I can't decide which color I like more, so I may keep both!I got this dress in the color BLACK in a size LARGE. For sizing reference, I'm usually a medium or large on top and am currently either a 36E/36F. In bottoms, I'm usually a medium-large or a 8-12/29-31 in pants/jeans, and if it helps, I wear a size 6 or 8 in Lulu leggings. I'm 5'3" tall with a short torso, and my measurements are about 44"-33"-44" (bust-waist-hip) right now, give or take.I've been on the hunt for a dress to wear to an upcoming work holiday party and this is the third one I've tried. I finally learned my lesson and stopped sizing up, and I'm so glad because this fits me absolutely perfectly and is TTS.This is a true wrap style dress, and on the first part of it, there are two buttons on the inside to pick from depending on how tight you want it. It'll only afford you about an extra inch on the waist, but I love that they did that. I have mine on the tightest one and again, perfection. I'm on the shorter side and the length was just right for heels - I have a little bit of extra material dragging (I took a pic standing normally so you can see about how much). The string to tie the outer portion of the wrap is nice and long, and I was actually able to wrap it all the way around to tie in the front if I wanted, so I'd say the sizing is super forgiving. Lots of cleavage, but I expect that in a wrap dress, and it makes them look really good. I'm not one to find a lot of clothes that I absolutely love on my body, but I feel really cute in this.The material on this is a really short velvet, so while it does have that weird texture per usual, it isn't bad at all. The inside is comfy. My husband isn't a fan of velvet but he didn't mind this. I love that is has a bit of a sheen to it, so it looks a little nicer than just a plain black material would. The weight is enough to feel a tad warmer without being too hot. I like in Texas in an area where it's warmer and humid all the way into January, so I wanted something that would sit somewhere in the middle.I tried mine on with a cute metal belt I had, just to emphasize the waist a bit, but I think I like it best without it... I haven't quite decided.Overall, this is a gorgeous dress that is really comfy but still flattering and nice enough to wear to a wedding, a party, or even something more casual. I'm definitely keeping this one and maybe even snagging other colors.

I bought this last minute for a wedding. It came in two days! I usually look at the size guide provided when buying clothes. The bust size was very weird and I was concerned the bust area wouldn’t fit. I sized up I definitely could of gone with my normal size. But with the built in buttons it definitely helps. Would recommend securing the buttons better. I’m 5’10 the the dress comes up to my ankles. The texture and thickness of the dress is perfect!! Definitely would recommend buy!!

Getting it to wrap approximately for my body/chest size was a little rough but ultimately I think it ended up looking great. Such a comfortable dress and with some heels the length was perfect and I'm short. Definitely an "Amazon" dress if that makes sense but 100% worth it. Wore it to a wedding and it was nice to look great but not have to break the bank for it. I also think if my chest was a little bit bigger and maybe my stomach a smidge flatter, tying wouldn't have been an issue.

I ordered this dress back in October and just wore it to a wedding I was in this past Saturday, 11/9/2024. I ordered this dress in black, and while it is a beautiful, flattering dress at a great price point, it dyed my skin BLUE. I’m not sure how this happened as I didn’t sweat (it was chilly outside). But my entire rib cage, back, and my thighs had blue patches from the dress. I scrubbed and scrubbed to get it off as soon as I noticed it, but it took 2 showers to get it to completely come off and as a result, some of my bed linens are stained as I thought I’d gotten all of the dye off. I have reported an issue to the seller— just waiting to hear back because I feel like I should be refunded and others should be aware so that way this doesn’t happen to them. It’s disappointing as this is a pretty dress, and I hoped to rewear it at some point, but I won’t be able to. I’ll update my review if/when the seller replies.***11/15/2024 update: seller was prompt in reaching back out to me and refunded me for the cost of the dress. I really appreciate that! I have updated my review to 3 stars as a result of their great customer service and timeliness in replying. Great dress! No exactly what I was going for tho. I thought it would be more flowy looking. Maybe it would've been as a medium. It reminds me so much of my high school choir dress lol and i cant see past it!. I'm usually a small so I ordered small (5'3'' 148lb) there's a little button inside the dress to secure the wrap. The loop is super small and fragile I'm worried it would pop off. I mean it's pretty and all. The shoulders are a bit more puffy than I wanted and the sleeves are big. The material is actually really great! And the color is good! Just not what I was going for.

Bought this in a size XL for an awards night and it is stupidly comfortable, Wraps all the way around my bump so no risk of flashing anyone, and even the hem stays even despite being in my third trimester. Not see see through at all Would highly recommend to other pregnant mums

The "but" first: I took the advice of other reviews and ordered down a size. Depending on where I shop, I'm either medium (rarely) or large. The medium is a fabulous fit. The bust area is roomy. I'm 5'7" and 160lbs, with 36C bust and I'm probably going to wear a pushup to make sure I fully fill out the top. Doesn't wrinkle, I got the black for reference. Would definitely buy in other colours!
