I don't normally write reviews, but having spent over 2 hours setting this thing up, I thought I'd share my experience.Firstly the thing looks good. Sure, it's just white plastic and plastic faux 'wood', but it does look fine. Now that it's working it's great, but as mentioned it was a nightmare. You first of all have to download the app. Secondly you have to set up your phone as a mobile hotspot, which I'd not done before. You then have to link the diffuser to the hotspot, and then the hotspot to your normal wi-fi. Oh, and then you have to set it up as a group in your Alexa App. I am normally pretty good following instruction, but these are not good enough.The instructions are all there technically, but clearly they were written by someone not using English as their first language, so I was totally confused. To be fair, once working it is definitely a clever piece of kit, but make sure you have a teenager with you to set the hotspot and wi-fi stuff up!!

Bought this to link in with Alexa and it was the only reason. Downloaded the app umistsplus and what a load of C--p... Went to register account and it says account already registered.. (never registered it before) so went to ask for password with my email which I have had for 17 years... and it tells me that no account exists? I then follow the instructions step by step until I am on my 9th attempt to register an account and I either got the message, already registered, or not registered or just a straight failed.... Now I am not a stupid person... I have my whole home linked in to Alexa from heating to plugs, to switches, light bulbs, cctv and a smart kettle.... so I have done this process a million times and this to me is a joke. After looking at the reviews on here I didn't realise that the top few which I read before buying it seemed to be professional reviews... mmmm.... has someone been paid to say good stuff about this product....? Anyway the diffuser is up and running without the connection to anything (which is really annoying) The product seems to work so far and all I can say is don't buy it if you want connect it to anything because it doesn't work....

I really wanted to give the product 5 stars review yet the reality is different. It is a nice looking humidifier. However, for the price one would expect the wooden part to be made of wood and no plastic. It is not an issue, because it seems to work well. Two stars because pairing with Alexa did not work despite of my fallowing the mico-tiny instructions you need a magnifying glass to read. Probably one needs to have a doctorate in quantum physics to sort it out. I bought it because it had good reviews and I wanted it to work with Alexa. Otherwise I could get something made of proper wood or glass if it was not for the feature. At the end of the day I have not managed to make it work. Forgetting the pairing issue I rate the product 3.5/4 stars. Nice lights and a good diffuser.

The media could not be loaded.  Similar WiFi products have been a nightmare to set up with unclear instructions, but this was a breeze. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the paper the instructions were printed on, it’s great, and following the guide was easy. All in all, set up took around 10 minutes.The unit gives off plenty of scent and fills the room quickly.A nice feature to finish off is the colour change. Although I’ve only just tried this, I imagine it will work really well during the evening and night time and provide some nice ambient lighting.All in all, I’m really pleased with the product and how easy it was to install and set up.

The media could not be loaded.  Love the size and shape. Colours are brilliant and ability to control via wifi is great add up. I gave 4 stars as it took me a little while to connect to Wifi through the app. I swich it on while traveling home and find my home smelling lovely when arrived.

I have finally managed to make this device work with Alexa after multiple attempts. Now that it is set up I can confirm it works perfectly, the only thing I have to do is rename it from its default name of "switch" to "diffuser" which apparently is possible but looks set to become my next challenge. Otherwise now I actually have it set up and working, the product itself does work very well with an almost instant and very satisfying plume of steam jetting out the top spreading its scent around the room. It makes a gentle and relaxing burbling noise as it works and the colour change is lovely.Stick with this product if you purchase it, I read and followed the instructions to the letter but it did take multiple attempts to get it to work. Now it does, I'm very pleased.

I was so excited to receive and it arrived quickly but I’m unable to register it on app and cannot connect to Alexa the instructions are not clear BUT the diffuser works fantastic when just plugged in
