I needed something to stop my puppy, Wilbur, from going up and down the stairs, as he has to rest after he recently had an operation on his front legs.As you can see, the mesh 'gate' doesn't fit across the stairs bottom too well and sags. The stick on hooks that come with the gate are quite adhesive but to get the gate loop over the hook is a bit of a faff.So far, Wilbur hasn't tried to cross the barrier but is interested in it and any amount of poking his nose on the mesh would just destroy it. Although he's only 7 months old, he's big and could easily breach the barrier without much effort.I don't think Frank the cat is as safe there from Wilbur as he thinks!Priced about £11, I threw the packaging away as it's probably more hassle to return than is worth it.Buy cheap, buy twice.Spend a bit more on a better gate

Arrived really quickly, well packaged, really easy to put together you follow the instructions. Comes with plenty of hooks, lovely size, great quality. Its safety is very good, it’s easy to hook & unhook. It’s good value for money.

It's not great as a door gate as animals can easily slide under the gate. Did not keep my 3 dogs secure. Once one figured it out the others followed. I think it relies on the stair being at the bottom to secure the gate better.Had to make my own adjustments to make the gate secure and fit for purpose. It's for a temporary situation until a door gets fixed. So it was easier to make the adjustments than send it back.The hooks supplied only work on tile. Will strip paint etcI used seperate screw in hooks to help secure the gate to the wall.Added mesh at the bottom so they can't escape.

Had it two weeks and it's completely broken, sticking has come off where it attaches to hook on both sides. Couldn't even stop a 10 week old frenchie pup!

So the good about this product is its easy to install.Unfortunately my 12 week puppy destroyed it in about 8 seconds. The sticky hooks pop off when the fence is leaned on and puppy can get under it pretty easily.

Like the price, looks easy to put up,but in reality not as easy, you need a post on both sides, We've got to adapt the side nearest the wall,by altering the hooks to face the sideways,

Bought this to try stop my dog goingupdtair and for safety when grandchildren come, had no missing parts, was stable, it fit perfectly, so easy to set up, but wasn't stable enough to stop the dog literally lasted 30mins before he ran through it and snapped the stability bars, so it was a fail for pets side for us

Don’t buy these they are awful to put together if you don’t get the hooks in the right place it won’t work properly and once they are stuck on if you want to take off again it will ruin the wall but taking of paint or wallpaper and they rip easy if caught on something I’m disappointed I’ve lost out £30 as I bought 3 for £9.99 each not worth the money do not buy I repeat do not buy

We were looking for an easy to set up temporary gate for our new puppy to keep him from going down the stairs. This gate worked perfectly. The tabs that you stick to the wall were easily removable. I highly recommend this gate.

It does its job but hooks and fasteners is not great.But for the price its all good.

My 2 cats always found a way to get in my room with this up. I pulled it as tight as I could. Did not work.

The install was easy but as you can see from the picture the elastic did not last more than a few days. This is after one week of having it up.
