Digitally remastered and expanded two CD edition of this classic album from the Australian band led by former Split Enz member Neil Finn. This edition sees the original 14 track album expanded to 35 tracks. The 36 page booklet boasts lyrics, rare photos, newly commissioned liner notes from journalist Dino Scatena and new interviews with Neil Finn and Nick Seymour. Woodface is the third studio album by Crowded House. Produced by Mitchell Froom, it was released by Capitol in July 1991. It features five singles "Chocolate Cake," "Fall at Your Feet," "Weather with You," "Four Seasons in One Day," and "It's Only Natural".

Regarded by many as the height of Crowded House's career...
Regarded by many as the height of Crowded House's career, this set is reissued with an excellent bonus disc of demos and outtakes. It also comes in an attractive box with a beautifully illustrated booklet and lots of notes from the band about the extra songs and memorabilia from the period. The sound is beefed up on the original disc, with a more definite bottom end to the sound.Woodface has a number of songs written with Tim Finn as a part of the band - a really fruitful collaboration. The overall standard is excellent. Songs like Chocolate Cake alienated the American radio stations and that remains one of my favourites, precisely because they had the guts to make such a pointed statement about biting the hand that fed them, especially in the accompanying video (the song didn't make the cut on their first hits compilation!!). Elsewhere they go from melodic to pure pop, to whimsical, to rock.Stop reading this and order this album!!The seven reissues were a compulsory purchase for me, even though I had the original albums anyway.

It's Only Natural
What a truly glorious album. Moody, funny, sad, poppy, sassy and melodically untouchable. The remastering is solid without detracting from the genius in the performances and the songwriting. I love love love it. Well, it's only natural.....

Great Reissue
These two CD reissues of Crowded House's catalog are a great value. They include live tracks and demo's along with a comprehensive booklet for the release. Although they are too large to fit on a cd shelf, they showcase a worthy successor to Split Enz.

Crowded House's first four albums are their best. This one, number three, enjoys a well deserved remastering makeover.Loved it on first listen, decades ago and love it even more todayThe extra CD of out takes, is most fascinating.
