How to Use CSP _To wear your CSP (Cloth Sanitary Pad) simply wrap the wings around the gusset of your underwear and fasten the snaps underneath. The soft charcoal grey fleece panel should be facing your body, and the label on the outside faces down in your underwear. We recommended wearing snug fitting cotton underwear for a secure fit. Change as often as you would a disposable menstrual pad, but you will more than likely find that your flow is different when using chemical free products. Once used fold into three and wrap the wings around and snap together, making a leak proof package. Unsnap to wash. Pre wash once before use for maximum absorbency. Some women prefer to soak or rinse in cold water after use to stop any blood staining but from experience we have not found this to be necessary. Our personal routine is either to chuck them in with a normal wash and skip the fabric softener, or wash them all in a batch at the end of our period cycle (with the nappies if applicable). Even after leaving until the end of our cycle none of us have reported any staining with only using normal washing powder. A cold rinse in the machine first is best as heat can set in stains, then wash at 30-60 degrees. They can be tumbled dried on a low temperature but are so fast drying that it is rarely necessary. Do not use fabric softener because this will affect absorbency.

... are the first time I've used re-usables and I love them. I used them on the first two ...
Okay so these are the first time I've used re-usables and I love them. I used them on the first two days of my period which is my heaviest and there was no leaking. I don't like wearing a cup the first two days as I am horribly crampy in that time and wearing one makes it worse for me. Granted, I spend a lot of my day sitting as I am an artist but I didn't notice any moving around when I was walking and running with my dog. They are soft, comfortable and the nice charcoal grey is great at hiding the blood and doesn't show any staining after washing. I will be buying more. I do get a bit hot in them but I suppose that's just to be expected when wearing cloth pads.

Great!
Quality product. Nice and soft, even after washing several times. Much better than disposable. It slips around a little but the pros outweigh this detail, and can be helped by wearing the right sort of pants. It is comfortable and very absorbent.Got some for my teenage daughter and she loves it.

LOVE THEM!!!
Seams odd to rave about products like this but seriously... why aren’t these advertised more! I love them!!! And their great for the environment which is an added bonus!I have had no leaks! I feel comfortable! No irritation like I use to get from pads! Over all I’m impressed.

A lovely, well thought out, practical design.
I was apprehensive about moving to cloth pads and researched in depth before making my decision. These pads are incredibly comfortable to wear, and wash well. It is a clever design that the label is under the flap and I love the fun colours and designs.

One simple but fatal flaw
These pads are soft, absorbent, stay put, and are easy to wash. Why the low rating then? There's a brand and size tag on the wing that is made of horribly sharp fabric. After three days of wearing these pads, I've actually been left with a small cut on my right inner thigh. I'm going to have to carefully cut the tag out of all of my new pads. It's such a shame as this could have been easily solved by sewing the tag into the back of the pads, which lies against the underwear rather than the leg. Without this tag, I would have given these pads a much higher rating.
