It’s ok but not relevant info
I thought this was going to be a great book on how to help my child go through adolescence as a nurturing parent. It just talks about stupid different disorders and has 1 chapter on being around. Has no information on how to make up for the first 3 years of life or how to connect or anything. Love her message on socials but this book was a waste of money/

Nice but missing significant issues related to teen anxiety
In the chapter on sexuality the author misses a VERY LARGE problem facing children growing up in the device addiction/technology era. Pornography and its effects on children as they are exponentially becoming addicted and the relational violence that is becoming the norm in creating narcissistic abusive relationships around sexual manipulation. My daughter was loaned a book by a friend that was purchased from target that literally includes pornographic scenes of a teenage boy, manipulating the girl and having sex with him and it is normalized as part of “getting the guy.” The book even has the lovely target Circle sticker on the front for being on sale! It’s not just the Internet…. And it’s a culture that’s being established in our youth that is very disturbing and filling them with extreme amounts of anxiety and distrust. We have a generation of children that don’t believe in relationships anymore! It’s “just sex.”

Great Book but Bad Quality
Itself, this is a great book. I found it very informational and well written. I recommended it and bought another one for my sister who has children, because I think it has really important takeways that parents should read. But, I would say try buying it from another publisher. The first book I bought has awful binding and everytime I open it I have to hold it carefully so it doesn't break apart. The second one came with the spine having clustered spots on it, and I almost thought its been used previously. But insides were fine.
