This set is very well thought out and complete. All parts are nicely manufactured matte black metal construction. This is NOT lightweight aluminium, I suspect its steel but I'm not a metallurgist. All parts fit together very well and seem exceedingly durable.The center point where you join the 2 short bars to make a long one fits very well! In our unit there was zero slop and infact had to use a block of wood and hammer to drive the two pieces together smoothly as it was a wonderful "press" fit.The one negative area, and the reason for only 4 stars, is the instructions. While all the information is there, it's not in a clearly explained way so you have to read between the lines and do some calculations/educated guesses.Overall I'm confident that if the house were to burn down the track kit would still be 100% usable lol.I will definitely be buying another of these to use on the other doorway in our hallway.

Purchased the 6.6 ft kit, received the 6 ft kit. Found this out after drilling holes in my wall... The hardware itself seems like pretty good quality. I have already installed hardware on the door and would really like to avoid having to take it all apart and return the entire package when I just need the 6.6 ft rail and not the 6 ft rail that was delivered. I have this Jerry rigged on a caster base with a bookshelf behind it. It is set up as a hidden door into my bar area at home. I have only had it a Few weeks, but loaded up the bookshelf has over 1k lbs on it. The tracks are basically a guide and it weight is supported via the casters. I was surprised.with the quality of this for the money compared to Lowe’s kits costing near double the price in their stores.

The item was packaged well and so far I am pleased with the purchase. The materials are top grade steel and were easy to work with on the installation. I will be buying more of this product in the future as I continue to rehab my home and install barn doors throughout. Also, this product is priced well below many of similar products on the market so you are getting a quality product at a great price.

The rails are exactly as pictured. They are secure and pleasant to look at.

Love it. I had to trim both ends to make it fit properly in my small place but I am thrilled with outcome. Highly recommend

After getting the room built that this was to be used in, we finally went to hang it in our child’s room. The track is NOT one piece as pictured. Two pieces in fact. The image in the instructions (that were torn into pieces and I had to tape together to make sense of them) shows two pieces where a male and female meet. The two pieces I received only had two male ends. I still attempted to make it work. After getting it hung to the best of my ability, placed the door onto the track, it ripped straight out of the wall. And yes I used the anchors. Very frustrated. Maybe this is a product that you get what you pay for. I’ll take a refund.
