Excellent addition to the Warthog sharpening jig. Use sparingly to achieve super razor edge on your knives. Expensive but should deliver exceptional results when you need the perfect edge.

I love my warthog. It's a pull-through that self-adjusts for the correct bevel, and it allows me to use multiple hones so I can reprofile an edge and polish it, all with the same tool. It's not a high-end sharpener, but it sits nicely on my counter and it's easy to use. Mostly I leave these ceramic hones in it, set it at a bevel 5 degrees greater than the one I sharpened my knives at, and I use it in place of a honing rod. I think it's easier to use and more effective than my honing rod, and I'm happy with my purchase. BTW the reason for the 5 degree difference is so the sharpening happens more on the very edge. This is as instructed by Warthog. If I want I can put on a microbevel that is supposed to produce a more durable edge.
