This is an excellent flashlight. I have tried a number of flashlights on Amazon, and this is the best for my uses. It is very bright, and adjustable for distance and close up. It has a clean beam. It is relatively lightweight, but solidly built of metal. It will fit in a coat pocket. There is a side panel which is useful if you want to use it as a lantern. It also has a magnetic butt, which is particularly useful in a power outage, as you can attach it to the refrigerator or hanging pans or whatever, to direct the beam to the stove while you are cooking. You can also attach it to the car exterior to direct the beam for hands free use outdoors. There is also a belt clip which I don't use, but I could see it being helpful. This price on this flashlight right now, $9.00, is amazing. I have tried more expensive rechargeables which are not nearly as good as this one.This flashlight has a number of modes, including Flashing, red and ultraviolet. Although I was originally attracted to the UV feature, I don't use it. I really don't find the flashing modes on flashlights helpful. To get to the various modes, including the modes on the side panel, you cycle through pushing the power button. However, you can turn it of without having to cycle through: you simply long hold the power button.The power button is red when low, and green when fully charged. The battery life is good. I don't know how long it would last for extended use because I normally only use it for going out to lock up the chickens, and I rarely need to charge it.I have bought one of these for a friend. Seeing today's price on this, I am strongly tempted to buy more, as this is lower than the normal price, which is already good. I have yet to find one of these mid-size to small flashlights that is as good as this one.,

Very great flashlight especially at this price point 4 sure well made !! Don't care 4 micro USB port but outside of that no complaints at all great product already resold twice

I've only had this for a couple of months and noticed the lights don't stay as crisply bright as when first purchased, even on full charge. This is a really good deal for the money and would probably buy again, but it could use some improvement. It has really cool features with different lights and strobes. There's a nifty quick shit off by holding in the power button for a few seconds, regardless of what setting it's on. The side light is useful when you need to set it down. I fear though, that it is not very sturdy. I could be wrong as I haven't dropped it yet, but it reminds me of a similar flashlight I had before where one drop and it's done. Hopefully that won't be the case for this one, but I can't say for now. If you're in a pinch, get it. It's light enough to carry, but heavy enough to potentially swing around and use for self defense. My dog's and I appreciate the different light sizes it has, especially when we are walking close to our hillside at night. The brightness seems to still scurry little critters and deer away, which works for us.

I got this for my husband to use while working outside at night on his rig, and this light is VERY bright and shines far. Perfect for his needs. Small and lightweight enough to fit into his side pockets or clip to his bag.

The light will come on, if plugged in to charge, but will not work if unplugged --- UNLESS --- you remember to unscrew the cap at the back of the flashlight, and remove the little round paper circle! THEN, the flashlight works flawlessly.Bright light, flashing light, sturdily designed, great flashlight!

I bought this for my wife's car for emergency light. I have other LED's with the same rechargeable battery. so I have other chargers and batteries.I prefer the lights with the button on the end for activating with the thumb and only one mode- ON/OFF.However, this light seems well made of metal, not plastic. I like the side light and magnet, so can stick to fender and have overhead light if need to change a tire at night. Can also stick to underside of hood if trying to repair something at night, like I said bought for emergency.Very happy with the design, apparent quality, and price.

The recharge feature is great. Holds battery for a decent amount of time. All the functions worked perfectly so far. It shines for a good distance.

Purchased primarily for late night dog walking. After less than a handful of walks the light died while walking my dog late at night! Wow, that wasn’t long ….. Said it came with charger but there was none. Able to use another I had and noticed it took quite a few hours to charge. I’m guessing you’ll have to keep this one plugged in all the time for it to be ready when you need it ; o (. Fingers crossed this thing lasts longer than a few weeks. Update: After full charge it again only lasted a very short time and needed to be charged again. Also concerning is that the flashlight has now just SHUT OFF on its own for NO apparent reason. Fumbling with dog waste bags and keys, the last thing I need is for the light to just shut off while I’m stumbling in the dark to find and remove dog waste! This is definitely not a reliable flash light in any sense of the word. Tried one more time to give it a full charge BUT this time? Nope, even though it was GREEN and fully charged it didn’t work at all when I unplugged it and took it outside to walk my dog. Such a waste of my time and money. Don’t waste yours on this useless product.
