This book is both a delight to the eye and a useful resource. I have just completed an 'activity' quilt for a 3-year-old little girl who is having cancer treatment and experiencing the emotional trauma this brings. I made several of the owl toy patterns and other ideas and tucked them into hidden pockets of the quilt. They are delightful and yet not too difficult to accomplish. The patterns are included, together with instructions. Despite being an experienced needlewoman I picked up a lot of useful tips to reproduce the myriad items for the home. Tasteful and crammed with lovely photographs. A lovely book - the owls are a favourite of young and old alike.

A fair number of repeats but as always quite inspiring, makes you want to go and make something.

Such a beautiful book and some wonderful projects to do! Only downside is if you wanted to use the same fabrics you’ll find it near impossible as they’re no longer available. Definitely recommend the book though!

Excellent book, well worth the money.

Lovely little book, good to have the stencils included. However, I would like to see clear instructions for what is needed to make the projects. I wanted to make both throws and now it's going to be much harder work. To explain, in the right hand box entitled "you will need" simply stating "various fabrics" is very unhelpful! I would like to know how much fabric is required please! I.e 2 fat quarters of cream and green for quilt top etc. It says later on some quantities but not solids or prints or how much batting.. Suggest they change this.

I bought this Tilda book as a present for my mum, shes a huge Tilda fan- as am I and this book is lovely. Lots of beautiful things to make and tones of inspiration
