I recently had hip surgery and purchased these shoes because I cannot bend to get shoes on. They have a hard, yet comfortable back which allows you to slip your foot in without the back folding over!! Truly the best shoe for those with bending issues yet need supportive shoes for walking!! 5 stars is not high enough for these Skechers!!!

Cushions my feet, easy on and off but they run a little wide. These are nice to travel in. I got the light beige and ti me they always look dirty. They're the type of shoes when comfort over style isn't an issue. However. . I do want another pair 😳

I have been working retail FOR YEARS. Long hours of standing and walking have taken its toll on my feet. I ordered these to help with that . I wore them all day right out of the box and they fit and felt great! They are lightweight, breathable and best of all, very comfortable!

Keeping shoes on with swollen feet is difficult. These seem to stay on better than backless shoes. I think for me they are a little difficult to slip on without getting my hands on them as promised, because the front tends to fold under. I need to get on the bed and slip them on my swollen feet then stand and slide them on. Wearing them around the house in case they are too tight with a medium thick sock. I have diabetes and can't feel my feet, so I will let you know at the end of the day if my feet are ok. They stay on when I walk,so that's my biggest issue with swollen feet. Funny that my regular size fits even with diabetic socks. I think they are going to work. They may even keep the swelling down. Price was reduced and they are returnable. So a good deal on the price. I think the support is rigid and suitable for diabetics to wear. I have an exerciser vibrating unit that really shakes hard, so these shoes will stay on perfectly. I'm glad I found them less stretchy because I need ankle support. These are not stretchy shoes. They feel rigid on the fabric, so measure your feet for a good American made I think. I bought black.I am writing a week later. These shoes are loosing up as my swelling went down. They are working out fine. I'm glad I bought them now.

From the moment I put them on, wonderful!They are lightweight, supportive, attractive with casual dresses or pants! Mine are a beige color size 8.5. My feet are super sensitive and I’ve ordered and returned several before finding these.

The shoes are very comfortable and, because of my lousy arches, I removed the inserts and replaced them with arch supports. Almost perfect, but the heel is a little loose (I bought wide shoes and probably shouldn't have). My shoes aren't so wide they fall off. I just need some gentle heel grips to have shoes that are 100% perfect.Edited to add a warning. I was out in a rain storm yesterday and my shoes got drenched. The heel got stretched out to the point where it was could barely keep my shoes on. I just washed them in hot water and they're now in dryer. I'm hoping they shrank and that all will be okay again. If I do not update this review again it'll mean the hot water and dryer didn't fix the problem. Meanwhile, just in case it won't work, I re-ordered a pair. And I'll stay out of the rain from bow on.

The "slip-in" construction of these shoes is great. They look good, fit well and the cushioned sole makes them feel great.

It's hard to find shoes for an elderly family member with bunions, but after trying on many pairs, these proved to be the most comfortable. The heel is not to high, the extra width in the W size is perfectly accommodating, the shoe is light yet reasonably durable, and it's very easy to slip on and off.
