Q: I use a needle needs 28" millennium frame. would this fit the holder and not be too bulky?

I really don't know what a millennium frames is. I googled it and it appear to be a scroll frame, with dowel like sides. I use solely square 4 sided frames. Square fits perfectly in the clamp attachment I have. I don't know is lowery has a different clamp head. 28" is wide. the Lowery is light. I have floor frames that are like smaller quilting frames that work well for longer pieces. My is by K's Creations and also one home built modeled after a Fred Edmunds floor frame with a home made wide trestle and dowels I bought at Home Depot. These two gave me unlimited ability to fit the frame to the piece. Good lubk

Q: What maxamum size roller frame can you use before you need to get the extra long frame adapter?

I have tried to use a 18" slate frame without the adapter and it was just too heavy. I regularly use a 18" wooden rotating frame and it is fine.

Q: How long is the arm please?

Complete with the side clamp, it's 24.5cm. Without it's 16cm. The stand includes the side clamp and a longer L Bar is available for wide sofa arms, etc.
