Very easy to use and worth every penny.
This is excellent for applying creams or ointments on yr back. It's the first time I have found anything that is so easy to use.Only problem is you can't order replacements sponges or anything else from them outside the USA, which is very irritating.

Overpriced
On the positive side, this applicator does work in spreading lotion over your back. However, at £13.75, it is very overpriced. The sponge is made of plastic foam about 75mm thick that is glued to the hard plastic pad. The information with the applicator says that this foam pad can be replaced but a) it isn't going to be easy to remove completely and b) I think each replacement pad cost about £3. If I need to replace it, I will just cut a piece of foam to size and glue it on - I'll probably have some suitable foam from packaging somewhere in the house. The foam pad is 6cm from top to bottom and 5cm at the widest point. It was smaller than I expected but I've seen reviews of larger pads that say they aren't very manoeuvrable. The applicator handle is angled and that works well and the length (about 30cm excluding the pad) is enough. However the handle is ridged and I find it a little uncomfortable to hold. I really can't see the point of these ridges. There is no way to hang up the applicator to dry without attaching a string loop. There is what is claimed to be a thumb rest but whoever designed it must have anatomically different hands to mine! I can't keep my thumb on it when using the applicator. There doesn't seem to be a totally satisfactory applicator on the market so my conclusion is, if you can find it cheaper, it is probably an adequate solution.PS I decided to get an alternative "Lotion applicator with massaging head" at just under £10. This is incomparably better - I've reviewed it.

Don't waste your money on this
The sponge rolls off the applicator after 2 uses. Replacemnt sponges are vastly overpriced especially for 2 uses!Don't waste your money on this, buy something else.

one star
I purchased this item on the 1st. August 2015, and the sponge has already fallen off. Though it does a good job of applying cream to the back it is very inferior. Improve the quality please. No use of giving reviews, when you don't do anything about it.

LOTION APPLICATOR
I'm writing regarding the Lotion applicator I purchased, unfortunately I am very disappointed with this item, I used it only once and the small piece of sponge that was glued on to the handle came off and I have not been able to get it back on. A complete waste of money. I cannot return this item as I had thrown out packaging etc.

Easy to use and the angle is great
Bought for my sister as she cannot reach her feet. She loves it, uses it to apply lotion on her heels. Easy to use and the angle is great. Have bought spare sponges but they are very expensive for what they are
