Worst umbrella I've ever owned (regardless of price) - zero stars
This is my updated review after a few usesUpdate 2:First rain after the umbrella broke (for the first time)Well - another spoke broke in exactly the same way today... So to summarize - based on my experience so far there is zero reason to buy this umbrella instead of a chinese knock-off . Regardless of how cheap it is it will last you at least as long as this one (in my case even the worst, cheapest, ugliest chinese umbrella I've ever owned lasted longer than the Knirps T.400 Extra Large Duomatic Folding umbrella...). So my advise is - don't waste your money on this ...thing...The first thing I noticed that the umbrella was pretty heavy. I was hoping that this is due to using sufficiently strong materials, but this does not appear to be the case - since it broke in 5-6 uses. After the first few uses the strap started to look as if I have used it for a much longer time. Not sure how many uses it would surviveAfter 5-6th use I notice that the umbrella looked somehow wrong and I noticed that one of the hooks that was a part of the mechanism was disconnected. I've never used the umbrella in strong winds so it most likely is a manufacturing defect. This is my first Knirps umbrella so I can't say whether I was just unlucky, but based on what I've seen I can't really recommend it at any price point - it just broke too quickly.

Good size but too heavy to carry around
I got this as a gift for my mum, great size, easy to use button, definitely not lightweight, mum says she would use more if it wasn’t so heavy.

Golf size folding umbrella!
This is a great umbrella when you consider the open surface area, it's like the size of a golf umbrella. Folds easily for my rucksack. Excellent craftsmanship shows in the build quality and the opening and closing mechanisms. It is more heavier than the cheaper conventional umbrellas, this is due to the size and the excellent material used. It's an expensive umbrella, but quality speaks for itself.

My first Knirps umbrella.
My first Knirps umbrella. It is very good under the rain and gusty winds. However, the handle strap just broke yesterday! For an over engineered umbrella, I think they under-estimated the strap. It is bugging me that I cannot hold my umbrella the same again. I am afraid I that plastic grip will slip from my hands one day. It is a necessity more than a luxury addition to the design. For the price I paid, it should not break in less than a week time.Update 13-10-2018:I fixed the strap. A few weeks a go we had strong winds and rain. The umbrella did pretty good job with the winds and rain. However, few rust stains are appearing inside. In addition to a snapped one of the arms hook (it is clearer in the pictures). did a temporary fix with a guitar string to hold it in place.I like the umbrella, but would not spend 60GBP for it, unfortunately I did!

Quality, quick open/close,big in small case.
All good. Quality excellent. Big brolley in small enough case. Pop up mechanism is cool but surprisingly the most useful is the close feature, especially when walking from wet to dry (I.e. through door). I also like the case with zip, can put thr wet brolley away in another bag until I can dry it out fully. Very happy. :)

Good quality
Very large canopy that goes down to a compact enough size. Materials are good and everything feels very sturdy

High quality umbrella, the downside for the quality is its weight.
No 'real' complaints, only a minor one; its weight, but that's to be expected due to its construction and quality of materials.

Glad to find Knirps still available
Wanted a Knirps umbrella for ages after my old one broke. Was told they were no longer made then I found this on Amazon. Great umbrella not cheap but excellent quality and durability should last a few years
