8" Inch Square Cake Polystyrene Dummy 4" INCH DEEP

Bought this as a result of a tip from a professional cake maker when making cake flowers from flower paste. The tip - cut drinking straws into halves, and stick them into this polystyrene dummy with a couple of inches protruding, at intervals to avoid clashing blooms. You can then insert each flower on it's wire to dry without falling over (generally being too top heavy for the florist wire). I used to just stick the wire into the polystyrene, which does work for smaller flowers, but for the heavier, larger ones, this tip works a treat.

Came with chunks out of it

Terrible! I ordered two, they weren’t even the same size!!! There was a strange black bit in the polystyrene, the edges were broken... such a waste of money as totally unusable

Great for practicing ones skills

This was very bad quality, it’s not even a true square, and the way in which it has been cut is a hack job

Awful product and not suitable for cakes. The edges were rough and uneven. Essentially this is a evenly cut piece of non pressed polystyrene. So for the price I feel utterly ripped off.

Not happy with the quality, looks like the edges have been nibbled away!
