The vest fits true to size and feels very comfortable. The battery holds a charge as long or even longer than is specified in the product description and the vest gets comfortable warm very quickly. I purchased an Ihood heated coat last year and it kept me warm all through the winter, I think this vest will give me more wearing options when it is not cold enough for a full winter coat. Overall I am very pleased with the Ihood brand of products.

I really loved the feel of the fabric, the placement of the heating elements. It worked great while it was on, however, the battery did not last the entire 6-8 hours on the low setting let alone if I’d had it on high.

Winter is fun when your outside and warm with this iHood vest. It is very comfortable, proper fitting, great looking and the quality of material and stitching are fantastic. This vest heats up quickly and maintains a nice warm environment. iHood will keep you warm!

I bought this on my husband's account. As an avid amateur astronomer, I want to be outside at night as much as I can. Cold and dark winter nights are the best for observing. In years prior, I was able to brave the frigid winter cold, but I seem to be having rough time with it this year. I was given an amazon $50 gift card for Christmas, so I got this heated vest with it hoping for the best.The vest was already on sale, and I am glad I bought it before the price spiked back up! It was just under $50 when I bought it a few days ago. I got lucky as I wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise. I have never tried heated clothing before, so I have nothing to compare this vest to in functionality or value.I plugged in the battery pack right after opening the package and gave it a few hours to charge. Fortunately for me, there was a break in the clouds that night so I went outside to observe Jupiter and the moon while wearing my new vest.My usual clothing for winter night observing entails long johns (both pants and top) tucked into socks and gloves. A very long thick hooded sweatshirt (sometimes two) with the hood(s) up, and then a long wool coat on top of all that. Now that I have the vest, the new program is to put the vest on over my long john top and under the sweatshirts and coat.This seemed to work pretty well, it was 30 degrees F with a little wind, and I could feel the lovely warmth of the vest on my back and shoulders, the back of my neck and my belly. It did seem to take the edge off, it made my observations more pleasant as I was able to focus on what I was looking at rather than how cold I was.I had the battery on the red setting the entire session last night, which is the hottest setting. It lasted around 2.5 hours. I have not tested the duration of the other two settings. Honestly, 2.5 hours would disappoint me if I was using the vest away from the house. That is not very long, and the battery takes around that long if not longer to recharge as well.Since I am using the vest specifically for my astronomy viewing sessions which are in my back yard, and each session typically won't last more than 2-3 hours, I am totally okay with the battery lasting only 2.5 hours on high. I will still likely get a back up battery though, in case I need to be warm for an extra bit of viewing time in the future on those extra cold nights.Another thing you should consider is that the sizing seems a little snug, I am a chubby and large busted woman who usually wears an XL or XXL, but the XXL in the vest seemed to fit more like an XL so if you are large busted or on the fence about sizing, I would say to size up. However, you may want the vest to fit close to your body and not be loose, in order to feel as much heat and get the most out of it.For the short battery life and snug sizing, I rate this vest a 4. Otherwise, I love it!

This super light weight vest does not dissappoint. When I ski I put it on and start out on high but within 5 or 10 minutes I turn it down to low and the battery power and heat output lasts all day. I no longer feel like the abdominal snowman from wearing multiple layers. This vest heats things all the way through and I am plenty warm, even on the coldest of days.

I usually do not write reviews but I received this order yesterday. It came in the cutest packaging with great instructions and patches for possible tears in the fabric. I’m wearing today and it works great, has kept me warm all day!

Love this vest! It makes all my cold weather trips outside pleasant. I'll even wear it around the house in the evenings. The elements heat up quickly and can easily be adjusted. I recharge the battery every night so it's always ready to go. The vest is thin and lightweight which makes it easy to wear with clothing and under a winter coat. There is plenty of room in the armhole area. I purchased the Medium and was considering the Small. I'm 5' 1", 129 lbs and the Medium is a bit long for my frame, but is no bother. I would definitely purchase another one of these vests!

Set this on low at first. It’s almost too hot!So far I love it. Very easy to charge and use. Follow directions for use and safety.Now I can get my steps in in Midwest winters as long as it’s not icy!!I’ll probably keep walking until 30° outdoors. Maybe even lower for short spurts.I wish the jacket had heat in the arms!Love that it also heats the neck!!
