Excellent lock and easy to set up and install
Great quality lock, Kwikset makes it easy to set it to a new or existing key, lots of easily programmable key codes and one time codes. Looks fantastic in person.

A Must Have
I bought this for my main house and my grandson installed it. It was an easy install and works great. I never have to hunt around in my bag to find the key. Love it.

easy to install , excellent customer service
I installed the first one and it didn't work so I called cust service and they were excellent. Answered promptly and spoke english natively. I ended up having to replace the first one and the 2nd one has worked flawlessly since. Recommended for the excellent customer service.

I installed this on a house I have been remodeling for a friend. The homeowner wanted a 10 key keypad as opposed to a 5 key. Better security in mind. The unit installs well and is actually rather intuitive. I like the Kwikset Smart key feature. He has an Airbnb and needs to be able to change the lock at regular intervals. Sorry Mr. Locksmith, but you have just been preempted by a machine. I guess that is a common occurrence these days.The finish does not show dirt easily and the lock pad lights up in the dark if you push the lock button first. Be aware though, this is just the deadbolt assembly, you still need to get a handle for the other door opening. There are lots of good options on Amazon for this part. Since this is a Smart Key deadbolt I would highly recommend you get a Smart Key handle too. If you accidentally lock the handle or someone else does and you don't have both keys alike you may be pounding on the door like FredFlintstone after he puts the cat out yelling WILMAaaa!
