Woody, tarry, similar to Birch Tar EO, but needs more dilution. Good treatment for headlice.
Another tarry, woody, creosote smelling EO derived from a species of Juniper, the heartwood burned down and the oils rectified by redistillation. This one is very, very good. Similar to Birch Tar. If you like burned over campfire, newly tarred roads and creosote, you'll probably be drawn to this. It's useful as an anti-parasitic if you've got headlice or other external body parasites. It's anti-fungal, and warming, if used in conjunction with other oils such as black pepper EO in liniments and creams. It can also help treat eczema, dermatitis and dandruff. The thing with Cade is to dilute it well - a 1% - 2% is best. Too strong and it can be irritant. The dripper in the cap will give you 20 drops in 1ml of the pure EO, so add 20 drops to 99ml of carrier oil (or 99g of lotion, shampoo or cream) for a 1% concentration. If you want to use it to clear headlice, put 20-30 drops in 99ml carrier oil, such as jojoba, sweet almond oil, argan, etc, massage enough into the hair and scalp to coat the hair and scalp completely. Avoid eyes & cover with a plastic shower cap and leave for 20 minutes, then comb through, thoroughly, with a nit comb before washing the hair. It smells better than 'neem' and you can sweeten it further by adding herbal EOs, or a bergamot one.Neroli EO goes well with Cade, and you can add a couple of drops to your post-shampoo conditioner.Just make sure that the entire family all does the treatment at the same time. As with all EOs, avoid use during pregnancy.

Not for me
Strong scent but not for me. Smells more like the aftermath of a fire than a cosy, warm smell

Good Cade
Seems like genuine rectified pyrolytic distillate of Juniperus Oxycedrus at a fair price. First impression is strong spicy smoke with herbal freshness coming through. Works well as a powerful base/mid note and fixative in shaving oil/balm, also contibuting antiseptic properties. A little goes a long way...

Fantastic delivery
I was looking for something that smelt like bonfire. But sadly this one did not. Smelt more like smoked ham which I did not like. Sorry had to throw it out, Will try birch tar next

Burnt wood in a bottle
This is essentially a bonfire scent - just a drop or two in the bath will make you smell like you've just come from sitting by a campfire :)
