Q: Is this product suitable for sealing wood prior to painting with Annie Sloane chalk paint

Yes it causes the wood to be completely sealed. It does however darken the actual wood down slightly. I like to use them use high friction polish.

I also purchased this shellac sealer to use on a pine kitchen table before waxing the surface. Try emailing the address on the Briwax site, via search engine.

Q: How thick is this? i was thinking of airbrushing this onto miniature mdf buildings to protect them from damp. would it clog an airbrush?

This product dries very quickly so you could have problems of clogging with an air brush. If you use this item it may be necessary to use a fine artists brush, which would be easily cleaned.

Q: Is this like a pre stain ? Can I put this on then stain it ?
