I should have got one of these years ago
Ok, you’re a cheap DIYer and think your 30 buck dongle is good enough to clear codes… it’s not, not if you’re serious about fixing issues anyways.I’ve read all the modules on my 14 ram. I was able to isolate issues and correct the following broken things that weren’t even that big of a deal to me:ABS light (speed sensor bad)Engine light (3 way coolant valve, short to ground)Trailer brake module (bad sensor)The amount of live data available lets you sit there and think, then figure out the necessary steps to fix your car.I wish I would have bought this device or something like it 10 years ago. It would have saved me so much heartache.I have told all that can hear my voice that this is my favorite purchase ever. Not lying and not regretting the priceThank you Autel.

Works Great / Lots to learn
I'm a DIYer who has been working on cars for 15 years, and it was time to up my game to one of these. If you watch lots of videos of real mechanics using these, you can learn its capabilities. I've been able to use this to diagnose leaking injectors, a dirty mass air flow sensor, and a bad O2 sensor. It has also kept me from going down the wrong path a few times.Updates are frequent and easy. The range on the bluetooth is really good, as is the wifi.

Easy to operate!
Got the chance to use the MK808Z-BT scanner today on my '09 Scion XB. Love the VCI BlueTooth attachment, love not being attached to the device with a cord (although the capability is still possible with the included USB cord), allowing more freedom of movement around the vehicle. Navigation throughout the various menu options was quick, and the information displayed was easy to understand in plain English. Although the MK808Z-BT doesn't have TPMS capabilities, I do have the Autel TS601 to perform that function if needed. There's still a lot more data to update for my device (41 items), which I'm planning to do at a later date. For now, I've just updated those that I needed for my personal vehicles to get me started. The speed of the device is truly fast, and it doesn't lag between menu choices since it has the latest software and hardware already installed. Kind of wished the free updates were two years instead of one, don't know how long I'll be updating the software since it'll run me $150 for yearly updates. All in all, the Autel MaxiCOM MK808Z-BT was worth every penny I've spent for it, so far... am not disappointed with the product.

Delivery was fast. Next Day. Features exceeded my expectations.
Replaced my snap-on scanner with the MaxiCOM MK808Z-TS. Allowed me to properly connect to each of the component of my GMC Envoy XUV. Looking forward to finally being able to installmy air pressure sensors on my Toyota.
