There Was a Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow! (A Board Book) (There Was an Old Lad)

A cute and funny book toddlers love. And I appreciate it doesn't have the wording, "I guess she will die". Instead uses "perhaps you know why".

My daughter was looking for books that weren’t too short or too long and were entertaining .. This one is just right! My granddaughters (3 and 5 years old) love it!! After only reading it to them once or twice, they love to “read” it to me .. I just ordered There was an old lady who swallowed some snow because this one was such a success!

I am slowly growing my sons collection to have all the "There was an old lady" books. he loves them. I did not know they had holiday themed ones until know so i am pretty exited! :)

Ordered a set of these for my niece’s kindergarten class as well as one for my granddaughter’s teacher and one for my house. She would listen to it over and over and over again!

If you like reading there was an old lady books . This one might disappoint you.It does not rhyme as well and some words don't fit right.My kid still enjoyed it.But unlike other books this one didn't flow as well .

This book is a great addition to our cookies and Cocoa theme this year. The pictures are great.

This book quickly became a repeat read each night for my 3 year old. I say use the bathroom first because one night I had made the ending so silly that he ended up having an accident right then from laughing so hard!

I love singing stories to my elementary students in music class. Over time, the students learn the tunes as well and sing with me. They enjoy visuals which is why the thought of musical "story time" is usually a success for me. I own almost all of the "There Was an Old Lady" stories. There are books for each holiday and season. The students always become excited when they see one of these books in my hand to "read-sing" together!

My class have enjoyed a number of these books there is a familiarity in style but the differences make it fun - thank you

I bought this for my nursery when we were doing our snowy topic, really funny but and the children laugh at the ending everytime.

Don't buy this book doesn't rhyme and ends up cause children to lose interest. The other books are great! but this one is absolutely painful to tryand read.
