Great book but for users with some knowledge of Scratch or JAVASCRIPT/C++

Brought this to work through with my 7 year old daughter. Really good introduction into coding in Scratch with clear descriptions of how loops, functions etc. work. We both loved the example games within the book and were able to easily understand and modify them to make them more entertaining.If I have one complaint the book is quite short but for the price it is good value.

My grand daughter loved this. Instructions are easy to follow and let kids build their own games to play with friends

Great buy, my 8 year old loves it. The games are written in easy language and are easy to follow.

This book is mostly a how-to build computer games using the Scratch software. I had expected some focus on principles of games programming, what makes a good game, hints and tips etc. But all this was lacking, and as noted I was left with a standard software manual -- although nice-looking and well presented

Great coding book for primary children

I have purchased this for my grandson for Christmas but it looks great.I'm sure he will enjoy it along with the other two I bought
