The pot is actually nicer in person. I was really surprised and excited that it has a drainage hole because I ordered it after reading others' reviews that it had no hole. (I've never been this excited about drainage hole until tonight. Lol!)The imperfections of the pot make it even more attractive (I mean imperfections, not defects). They gave the pot a character. The size is perfect for my purpose. The shape is very attractive. I rarely see a planting pot shaped like this.It came a lot sooner than I expected. Well-packaged and delivered with care. Gorgeous!!! Good size for my succulent, great design, more than what I expected

I bought the black and white pot for our bedroom dresser. Its great for indoor plants because there's no hole on the bottom. We just set the plant potted in a smaller plastic pot inside the decorative pot. The water does not seep through the clay so it doesn't stain the wood dresser.

This is very pretty but be aware that it is only 4" deep because of the holes, which are very unevenly placed. Also it is only 5" wide. It is not an 8" planter.

Such a nice looking pot and I had the right plant for it. The grow pot sits on the rim of the opening. Since I did not put the plant directly into the pot I had to put a saucer in the bottom of the pot. The plug was not water tight. Such a great looking pot

This was an excellent purchase for me. I was looking for a larger pot for one of my plants to get some breathing room and settled on this based on looks and price. It's perfect for my needs, sturdy but not too heavy and really beautiful to look at. Highly recommend!
