COMPLETE KIT - all peaces showed on pictures!!!
I read some previous reviews saying same parts/pieces didn't come. YEA! COMES WITH ALL PARTS SHOWN IN PICTURES. I did all the part installations on my Thundercraft 1990 (small tweaks, but no big deal) works perfectly

Thank You Teleflex!
Part worked amazing! Simple and easy to install. I highly recommend that if you need this part go with these guys, and one tip the length you need is from one end of the old cable to the other with the cylinder closed. My boat now glides on the water with smooth turns. Happy buyer

It worked as expected.
Instructions are not very clear, but it worked as expected, well built and would buy again.

Great value. If you are patient, you can install this fairly easy.
Being a novice to owning a boat (but reasonably mechanically inclined), I opted to solve my stiff steering issues by replacing the cabling myself. After making extra sure I had the right cable length, I purchased the 13' package. All parts were included as expected, the instructions were very easy to follow, and after replacing my old system, I can steer with one finger now rather than having to crank hard with two hands. The hardest part was working around the poor design of the boat manufacturer... In my case, the steering cable couldn't be replaced without either A, removing the motor or B, enlarging the cable hole by cutting. But this is not SeaStar's fault! The one negative that I did notice was that the rack does not seem to allow my motor to swing completely from side-to-side, which decreases my maneuverability a little, but only at station-keeping speeds. If you launch and retrieve at a busy bay, you might want to keep that in mind. With the slightly reduced maneuverability, you'll have a bit of a harder time waiting in line to dock, especially on a windy day when you're drifting.All-in-all, though, its a small price to pay considering I did the work myself and saved $500-$600 easy vs having a mechanic do it.I've used it for the entire summer boating season in Wisconsin, and I've had to mechanical issues with this product.

Teleflex Rack Steering can be difficult to install
I was replacing a Teleflex Quick Connect steering and this Rack steering was suggested as an upgrade for my Mako. Be aware that this Rack system requires a lot more clearance routing through the bilge since the rigid end has to be threaded through whatever passage you have. With the OEM Quick Connect system the helm end is flexible and a lot easier to thread through the bilge up to the helm.

Works perfect and the company ios great.
This is the second time I have installed a new Teleflex cable on a boat. Both times worked great. I order the wrong size at first and I called the company and they said send it back and we will send you the correct cable, which they did. Great cable and a great company.
