Really liked this bowl. Suction is good and easy to pop off without getting food everywhere

My 11-month-old daughter is just recently learning to self-feed, and one of her favorite past-times is throwing her bowl or plate of food to the floor in delight, and giggling when she sees the messy effects! Great fun for her; not so much for her parents. SO. This is where the Nummy Bowl comes in! We LOVE this bowl, and it has replaced all others in our household. At least for our little one!What I Love:• The Nummy Bowl has brought a complete end to our daughter's food-tossing, bowl-shattering episodes. When I first bought the bowl, we stuck it to her highchair tray and watched as she scraped and pulled and tugged at the bowl, all to no avail. She doesn't really even try to remove it anymore (but if given a different bowl, it goes crashing to the floor!) The Nummy Bowl hasn't ever come unglued from any surface I've stuck it to, and this includes our daughter's high chair tray, our wood dining room table, even the floor!• Although the suction is too strong for HER to release it, it's super-easy for US to remove.• Food-Grade Silicone; what's not to love? No one wants their baby/toddler consuming harmful chemicals or toxins.• Microwave safe, dishwasher safe...and coolest of all? OVEN-safe! Wow!• It cleans up beautifully. It almost seems like it is coated with something to make it easy to clean? Maybe the bowl's manufacturer can chime in here and either confirm or deny. But at any rate, it is super easy to clean and we do not own a dishwasher, so we are stuck with hand washing. It doesn't stain, either. Of all the foods I've added to the Nummy Bowl, none has ever stained the bowl.• Nice, big bowl portions.• I love that there are 2 sections to the bowl, so I can add more than one mealtime choice. Variety is the spice of life, right?? On this note, I would love it if the manufacturer of Nummy Bowl adds other mealtime options, such as a placemat-style setting with a few different sections. I'd definitely purchase it!• The bowl is weighty and substantial; I love how solid it feels.• The Nummy Bowl's cute puppy design is another nice touch!Complaints:• I have none!... at least at this point in time. And I have a feeling that I won't anytime soon. This is a very well-made bowl with a ton of usefulfeatures. And best of all, it serves its function (as a self-gripping bowl) beautifully. That is why we got the Nummy Bowl and it really delivers! Idefinitely recommend this product to the parent of any baby or toddler, but especially to the parents of a child that loves to toss their bowl across the room. It is worth its weight in gold in saved frustration and time cleaning!

I really wanted to love this but suction power was only ok for a baby who really loves to pull things off the high chair tray. Nice and deep if you need to load it up with food but hard for baby to reach / see into if they are learning to feed themselves. Also, pretty much everyone who has seen it has jokingly commented that it looks like a little dog food tray which is kind of a bummer to get those comments after spending so much on feeding supplies. Live and learn I guess! Works really well as a backup but I had to buy a different one for our needs.

The nummy bowl is our favorite suction cup plate/bowl solution for our plate-tossing toddler. We have an Abiie Beyond highchair, which unbeknownst to me when we chose it, has a smaller-than-standard tray. The nummy bowl is one of very few plate-like solutions that actually fits our highchair. And, of all those we've found that fit, this is the only one that sticks and stays stuck. We take a nummy bowl with us to restaurants and it is a lifesaver. It does not stick perfectly to textured surfaces and needs some repeated pressing to secure it throughout a meal on a textured table. But it's still the best we've found. On a smooth surface it is rock solid. We recently had a formal dinner for a family member's milestone birthday at a restaurant with tablecloths. (Yikes!) Determined to bring the nummy bowl with us, I devised a non-slip placemat hack to secure the nummy bowl on the tablecloth (2 placemats - one smooth placemat on top to suction on the nummy bowl, and one non-slip placemat between the smooth placemat and the tablecoth.) It totally worked and we had a great fancy dinner with no toddler shenanigans.We have 4 nummy bowls to-date. The nummy bowls wash easily in the dishwasher. We have 3 red and 1 blue. The blue one gets weird white residue on it after the dishwasher. I have seen the same thing happen with blue silicone bakeware. I don't think it's the fault of the nummy bowl. It's just something about that color / material combo that doesn't work great with our dishwasher detergent. It's not a show-stopper and I just clean the blue one more by hand. And now I only buy the red. I wish they came in neutral colors. I'd buy many more if they had grey or beige or some other practical, but boring color. Despite the primary colors, we love them and they have made mealtimes much nicer!

Summary: we love this plate/bowl. It is well built and sturdy, attaches to the table well, and best of all, it is microwave and dishwasher safe - should I say anything else? Oh yeah, its super cute in the shape of a dog!This bowl is super high quality and convenient. I am able to scoop my son's food into it, put it in the microwave and directly attach the bowl to his high chair. When he is done eating, I put the bowl straight into the dishwasher or I quickly wash it myself. The silicone material makes it very easy to clean. Prior to this bowl, I had to scoop the food into a plate that I would microwave and then transfer the food to a plastic suction bowl. Life is simpler now. The suction cup is also much much better than other bowls that we own. If my son really tries to yank the bowl out of his high chair, he is able to do so, but for 98% of the time, it provides more than enough suction to keep the bowl attached and his dinner away from splatting all over the floor. The weight of the plate/bowl is also nice and shows that the company did not skimp on the quality. Lastly, this can also be used as a plate. Do not think of this product as a soup bowl. We use it for liquids and for solids. The medium depth makes it easy for my son, whose motor skills are still developing, to spoon/spork his food out. Lastly, the dog shape is just the icing on the cake. Its not necessary, but it is a super nice touch to make the bowl as cute and fun as it is useful.
