Pilot Metallic Super Colour Silver Extra Fine (0.5mm Line) Permanent Marker Paint Pens (1 Pen)

This particular pen never got started. Having carefully shaken the implement as instructed I struggled to remove the cap, only to find that there was no nib in place !! I must confess that I have had other such pens in the past which at least worked for a while. Usually what happens is that after some time the nib works loose and tends to release blobs of silver paint onto whatever it is you are trying to write. Very disappointed !

Pen works but there is no way to get a steady even flow of 0.5mm, it's 2mm when you go slow and use the pen at 90° to your surface and about 1.2mm at 30° writing reasonably fast, I tried using the edge to get it really fine but either nothing comes out or it splodges.Useless for what I wanted it for (tiny writing on a model) but would be fine for writing Christmas cards, will use it for metal chipping effect now.

If I need a gold/silver marker I always buy the Pilot ones as the ink is good and the nibs don’t fall apart.Came slightly bent but that was the postman.

Hard to find fault here. The paint seems to adhere well to any surface and coverage is very good, providing a nice, surprisingly flat finish that dries quickly. Great for model making and detailing

I have had several of these pens which I use for black plant labels. When new they have a very fine tip but after a while the ink comes out too fast resulting in thick lettering.

Took ages to arrive and, quite honestly, not worth the wait. The tip is rough so you get blobs and uneven printing. Won't repurchase.
