Great feel
Good weight and feel. Holding up to my abuse; I have a tendency to break wood bows.

Nice carbon fiber bow
The bow is light probably compared to wooden ones. Carbon fiber will last longer than wood. This a nice bow. My mom taught me violin when I was a kid. I used to play few songs. Starting over gonna try learn violin again. But did some research if you want a decent violin for a cheap one replace strings with good ones the tail piece and bridge with carbon fiber ones I think create a little better high end violin. Also if you want put a Amina nova carbon fiber soundpost in it too but it’s around 600 dollars. I might. Do all that I think it sound good to play if your not in a professional orchestra. If so some them violins run 1500-6000 and sound carry throughout an aditorium. Just my opinion I ain’t a expert or nothing. My grandparents were they played in orchestras in their church

Love this bow. Looks cool and sounds great!
I haven’t played my violin in years but was recently asked to play in church. However my old fiberglass bow was looking pretty shabby so I ordered this one. The black horse hair is awesome and the bow is balanced just right. I love it.

Great to look at. Okay to use.
This bow is heavier than the average one so I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner. It is really nice to look at and it feels sturdy. I noticed that it is a lot straighter that. Other carbon fiber bows that Ive used. Overall it's a decent bow to use and gorgeous to look at.

Great sound and quality, light, comfortable
Bought this for my daughter who has been playing the violin for just over a year as her now hair was old and really dry and gross, we read amazing reviews of this one, loved that it is carbon fiber as she has to travel between two households and school and invade it has to stay in the car it will be fine. We are completely in love with the black horsehair, we had never seen that before and it is so fun plus’s it is beautiful texture and provides such a great sound quality on her student violin. Her violin teacher was impressed at the sound change from this now too. Highly recommend!

Should have known better.
I purchased this as an emergency buy with a budget because my other bow broke. Immediately on open it has several quality issues. The wrapping around the spring was already mostly peeled off, the grip has ragged and unsealed edges that are coming up, there are chips and scuffs in the bow, and the hair doesn’t tighten evenly. In top of which was exceptionally difficult to try and rosin. I am extremely disappointed in this and would not recommend.

Works well
Just getting back into playing the violin after a hiatus of several decades. This bow works very well with my cheap violin and also with a more expensive violin that I borrowed. It took some work to get the initial rosin on, but it plays very nicely now.

Absolutely do NOT purchase!
This bow doesn't rosin at all! Been working on it for a week and absolutely nothing. Waste of money!
