This product looks decent in pictures, but in practice it is kind of poor quality. It came rolled and it has a "memory" of it, it was very hard to straighten it and it is still kind of creased/lifting-up at places.The material is nice rom certain perspective e.g. I only use it behind the keyboard as I have separate mouse pad and it kind of has nice texture for your palm when typing, but that is only good thing I can say about it.The material is very easy to mark, any sort of dirt (even water) would leave a mark and forget about say coffee, that would just ruin it right away. It would absorb it right away and it is impossible to clean, I have little drop of tea on one side and it left distinctive permanent mark. Impossible to clean as well... I mean it is like wool felt and being light grey it is not ideal as desk cover. Well I guess in conclusion - just never eat at your desk if you want to keep it clean.So in short - kind of wavy, easy to mark, difficult to clean and all in all not very practical, but looks decent from 10 steps away.
