Cute solar system
My son is obsessed with planets so this is fun for him to see! There are a lot of different color and lighting options which is cool! I love the USB plug, more options in places to plug in.

Solidly Made With Beautiful colors
This 3D Solar System Crystal Ball id definitely something to see. It is very solidly built and if I had to guess I would say the the crystal ball alone weighs about 10 to 15lbs. The colors that the ball display look amazing and are able to be changed and controlled via the included remote control. The crystal ball produces an almost magical effect and is good for adults and children alike.

Never worked properly, remote immediately broke
When I first took the solar system crystal ball out of its package, I thought it was really pretty. The ball was lovely and interesting to look at. There's tiny planets and stars inside, and I was looking forward to seeing what it would look like when it was all lit up.I ended up so frustrated. I don't know if the one I received is a dud, or if this is just a bad product overall, but it doesn't work properly. When I plugged the ball in, it slowly started changing colors. The different colors were nice to look at, but I was a little confused about what else the ball was supposed to do. Was it meant to project an image onto the ceiling? Because it didn't. There was a small beam of colored light right above the ball on the ceiling, but it didn't show any images of planets.I looked around for instructions. There were none. Nothing whatsoever on the box or inside the box that would explain how to use the ball. That's really, really unhelpful.I then tried to get the remote to work. It wouldn't. I tried to open the remote so I could make sure the battery was in its proper place. It wouldn't open. The remote is so cheap and flimsy that I was afraid if I used any amount of force to open it that it would break.Eventually I did get the remote to open and put the battery where it should be. I tried to press the buttons on the remote. I discovered that there aren't any actual buttons. There's just a faceplate/sticker on the front made to look like buttons. The sticker immediately fell off.I tried again to press the remote to see if I could have some control over the colors and light on the crystal ball. Nothing happened. I pressed again and the remote cracked! It never worked. So in the end all I have is a pretty little glass ball that randomly changes colors and puts out a little bit of light that I have no control over whatsoever. What's the point of that?I don't recommend this product. The Solar System Crystal Ball is a disappointing piece of junk.

remote does not work.. does not shine on ceiling, just a color ring
remote does not work... tv remote does turn it on and off at odd times.. does not reflect on ceiling.. just color rings.. but it is cute and entertains. do wish the rings of planets where more accurate and not just a flat line, but oh well. i do like it but would not recommend it
