Exactly what i need.
This timer works really well and has a good sized display, instructions were easy to understand and made setting it up very easy, has a good loud alarm, just what you need when cooking loads of stuff. Only thing is do not hit clear to reset the timer, just press the M button and it will automatically recall the stored time you set. To set a time press and hold M until the digits start flashing then set your time and hit M again to store the time. This timer takes 2 X AAA batteries and they come preinstalled. To use the batteries you must remove the plastic wrapping they come in then reinsert the batteries then you should be good to go.

Good value for money timer
I like the fact it has 2 timers on it, and the colour flashing to let you know when it's started etc. It's also good that it was a stand and a magnet, as we do make use of both.Beeps are nice and loud so I can hear them if I'm in another room, but not too loud that it's overwhelming if you're right beside it.The one thing I miss that this timer doesn't have, that my old one did is the "warning beeps" at 10, and then 5 minutes to go, as they were a good alert to get going on the next stage of something/that dinner was nearly ready. But other than that, it does the job nicely.

Excellent timer, shame about the magnet
Used as a cooking timer, so I prefer to leave it attached to the fridge. Product itself is very good - two timers, easy to operate and a clear display. As you would expect, It counts down from the time set (hours, minutes, seconds) and beeps when done. It then counts back up so you can see the time elapsed since it reached zero. This is a useful feature I haven't encountered before - invaluable if you have been distracted and missed the beep. I like the fact it has a light for those hard of hearing or absent-minded: green light when counting down, red when time is done and it is counting back up, so you can see instantly whether it has finished the set cycle. I also like the fact it can be turned off from the side when not in use, to conserve the two AA batteries (supplied - don't forget you need to remove their individual plastic wrapping, as it isn't immediately obvious!) Some others have a switch at the back, which is much less convenient. The beep could perhaps be louder, but the only real downside is that the magnets on the reverse are not strong enough to keep the timer in place on the fridge or similar vertical surface. (I have solved this by placing it above a small plaque I have showing cooking temperatures, which happens to have very strong magnets and so prevents the timer slipping down). Highly recommended with that proviso.

Really great purchase
I’ve bought several timers from supermarket kitchen departments, all of which had poor displays and quiet rings which went unnoticed. This is a great piece of equipment - two items can be timed separately, the display is clear, with a green flashing light which switches to red when the time is up, and an alarm which can be heard two rooms away. The only tiny niggle is that the magnets on the back could be bigger or stronger; the timer is quite sturdy and tends to slip a little on the fridge door. Nevertheless, I’m really pleased with it and have already recommended it to a friend who has also purchased it.

Does what I want
Simple to operate with sensible, clear display. If count-up timer is less than 59 minutes, the display shows MM:SS.ss (with decimal places of seconds), when you go over the hour, it becomes HH:MM:SS. Nice loud alarm which will probably be heard through the house. When count down timing, there is a periodic bright green flash surrounding whichever (or both) timers are decrementing. The frequency of these flashes increases as the zero time alarm gets closer - being about 4 seconds apart over a minute, 2 seconds apart for last minute and every second in the last ten seconds. When the alarm tone sounds, the timer (T1 or T2) causing it now flashes red, the thing to remember is to select that timer with T1 or T2 button on RHS before pushing START/STOP button, or you will accidentally pause the wrong timer and the alarm continues. This is just something to learn, I don't really regard it as a shortcoming. The magnets are sufficient to hold it on a static metal painted surface without a problem. However, if the surface coating is thicker (e.g. a write on/wipe off board), then it may slide down under its own weight, or if attached to a painted metal drawer front, the physical jiggling when opening and shutting may also cause it to slide. On my example, the magnets are recessed in little wells which have a small, 0.5mm height lip around the edge - the engineer in me suggests that if this lip were removed, the magnets would be in contact with your metal surface, which should give much improved adhesion. However, this the lip exists to remove the risk of surface damage, so you modify at your own risk. I haven't found a good enough reason to do this.It is good there's an OFF switch, to save batteries I assume, this also has positions for speaker off and on. Note that turning to 'OFF' will lose any time figures displayed.I would recommend and buy again myself, if I need another.

Does all it needs to.
Bought to replace an almost identical one which served well for the best part of ten years. No reason to suspect this one will be any different.

Great double timer that sticks to my fridge.
The alarm volume is NOT "adjustable" choices are loud or silent.

Very convenient and well made.
It is my kitchen and domestic timer. I also use it to set breaks to get up from the computer to relieve eye strain and sitting at he desk. Excellent as can set another timing schedule at the same time without interfering with the first setting. ie. Sitting at the desk 45minutes and 90 minutes remember to call Fred.Very clever and neat design so you can carry it around the house, hang it up or stand it up.
