These bulbs give off a excellent strong but soft light, and very economical to run which is very important these days

The Philips bulbs of this type are excellent and earlier in the year I bought their 100W equivalent LED bulbs, and I was amazed at the difference in buying cheap ones you can get from Poundland or Range stores. The BIG differences are the Philips bulbs reach full brightness almost immediately while the cheaper older technology from above stores made by Eveready, etc, take time to reach their full brightness, and therefore the Philips bulbs you will not know the difference from a normal type of bulbs in gaining full brightness!Another surprising fact I found between the newer technology compared to cheapy Eveready bulbs and others of that type utilizing earlier technology, as when you're using a computer webcam you WILL get the wavy looking effect on your computer screen being displayed while with a Philips that problem is completely eliminated which is PERFECT for people that work from using a Webcam.The 60W bulbs liked I mentioned reaches full brightness almost immediately like the 100W equivalent version too, and the level of brightness of the 60W equivalent LED bulb looks no different in brightness from a normal 60W white bulb say used in a bedroom where you want it to be bright enough but not to glare you.
