Amtech J1935 3 Piece Hose clamp Set

Only wish there were four in the set.Could then clamp all the lines off in one go.

Does the job.

Have ised a few times, the middle and larger one are so far apart.in size you can't use them so have to bodge something else to work, would have been better to have 2 of each size in the kit.

I have recently used these to overhaul a complete set of brakes on my wife's 4 x 4 so required a set of brake hose clamps that could handle heavy duty hoses. Previously I had one hose clamp that on its own cost more than this set put together in fact several times over. That said this is a useful set of clamps, well made durable, simple to use and are intelligently designed. The camp pressure is slightly reduced as the jaws are machines / profiled not to exert guillotine like pressure hence I had some seepage from one of the cut brake lines. That said worth the money, simple ti use, durable, well designed and fit for purpose. Recommended especially if you only want to purchase them for a one-off calliper change, for example.

Great little item for a low cost. However for my intended purpose of clamping brake lines, useless. They aren't sturdy enough to clamp such a thick walled pipe. However for coolant or vacuum hoses I can see they would work quite well especially with the three separate sizes.So if you're looking for something to clamp off fairly flimsy rubber or silicone pipe, give these a go. If you want to change calipers or brake lines, don't waste the money, invest ins something more heavy duty.

Very good sometimes difficult to completely clamp small pipes off but on the whole a good product
