Monocure 3D ResinAway - Cleaner for Resin 3D Printer Post Processing - 5L

So first off, this stuff absolutely does a good job. With clear or anything with transparency though you are going to see some yellowing.Example picture has with ResinAway on the left and just hot water on the right. If you aren't using clear stuff, it's insanely good and you can use the same batch for quite a while. Maybe run it through a filter once in a while.Also, the chemical smell is very intense. Definitely make sure you have good ventilation while working with it.Honestly, I've found that hot water works quite well. Dry it off well and then cure. Not as good as this stuff but pretty good.

Worth it's weight in gold

The media could not be loaded.  This stuff is super expensive but it works. IPA has been shown to cause cracks and just never worked that well for me. ResinAway sets the standard for removing excess resin.

The photo makes the container look gigantic. It is actually very small. This did not clean my resin parts nearly as well as alcohol, and left them feeling oily, so I had to buy & use alcohol anyway.

Cleans uncured resin quickly and lasts a LONG time!

Pros: - Cleans very well, after a bath in this stuff the leftover resin rinses off with just a bit of water - Not flammableCons: - Fair warning, this stuff will chew through plastic quickly. If your using an ultrasonic cleaner with plastic bits, beware that they will melt and degrade within days! - Awful smell, debatably worse than resin itself - Unable to reuse, I attempted to set the used solution in the sun and filter it. However it seems the resin bonds to the cleaner without any way to separate the two.In my personal experience, in shipping the container was leaking and a fair bit of the liquid had leeched into the box it was shipped in.As expensive a this stuff is, and not able to resuse it, I don't see enough value to buy again.

I bought it with hopes that it will facilitate clearness on DLP parts printed from clear resin. I followed the procedure, demonstrated on youtube video by monocure. But the clearness on my parts was the same as cleaning with IPA. Though it is less smelly and not dangerous (flammable) as IPA for sure. Generally, I think that this product is good for its dedicated purpose, it does the job and lasts a bit longer (6 to 8 washes), but could A BIT cheaper... £50 for 2 liters is far too much. For £50 you can get double or triple amount of IPA.

It is a verry useful product if you have a 3D printer based on resin .It helped me to clean the resin from the prints and i used 250 ml for at least 10 prints .I'm a satisfied buyer.

Üblicher weise reinigt man seine Drucke ja mit IPA. Aber es verdampft schnell, macht dabei duselig usw.Resinaway funktioniert wie Spülmittel und kann deshalb eine Menge Resin binden.Ich wasche in 2 Durchgängen: In einer Tuppa- Dose fürs grobe und dann in einem Ultraschallbad den Rest.Das Ergebnis: Im ersten Durchgang ist fast alles abgewaschen, obwohl das mittlerweile eine trübe Suppe ist.Die Hauptursache für Verbrauch scheint für mich daher eher, dass man die Teile mit Resinaway benetzt und beim Rausnehmen etwas Flüssigkeit mit rausnimmt.Ich habe erst versucht durch sehr langes waschen und schütteln die Teile sauber zu bekommen, das hinterlässt allerdings etwas klebrige Teile. Nach dem Waschen im Ultraschallbecken war das nicht mehr festzustellen, bin begeistert :)Eine weitere Wichtige Funktion: Nach dem Waschen soll man die Teile etwas abpusten (verwende einfach einen Fön). Dabei verbleibt ein Öliger Schutzfilm auf den Teilen, der Verfärbung beim Nachhärten verhindert.Er lässt sich mit Wasser und etwas Seife gut abwaschen und man erhält perfekte Teile.Zusammenfassend: Es ist teuer, aber lohnt sich in meinen Augen.

J'utilise le ResinAway comme nettoyant pour mes impressions résine. Il a le même niveau d'efficacité que l'Isopropanol pour retirer le reste de résine liquide mais il ne s'évapore pas et est ininflammable. Je l'utilise dans un petit bac à ultrason pour le 2ème nettoyage après un nettoyage "grossier" dans un simple petit récipient. Je finis par un nettoyage à l'IPA car le ResinAway est gras. Résultat parfaitAttention, l'odeur est assez forte et il est souhaitable de l'utiliser dans un environnement ventilé et avec les protections qui vont bien (Gants latex, lunettes, etc...)

This stuff is the best. Makes everything easy to wash and is safer.
