I bought three for my family. We all feel just a bit more safe outside these days. The quality is sturdy, not too bulky. This added security device is just what I needed.

I haven't had to use this for defence, but from the feel I am sure it would work. It is cute, and light on my keychain.

So I thought I knew what I was getting here, and was still a bit put off with it being under my expectations. Keeping in mind two things- I think this has a pretty good chance of not being confiscated by security so you miiiight get away with taking it into places like concerts or airports- maybe? So at least you’ll have it. The other thing I am keeping in mind is that the only intended use for this item as self defense is to strike out at soft areas of an attacker’s body, which I obviously cannot test its efficacy unless I ever need it so who knows. It isn’t sharp but it’s not going to break so it might hurt an attacker’s eyes/face/neck/sternum or stomach etc. I think it would hurt but possibly only if you are physically close and able to use it before an attacker grabs you. I don’t feel this is as good as a metal kubatan, mace, taser, or bat or weighted stick. This would be my LAST choice and I feel I could just use my keys.So I don’t want to rate this unfairly because I think the quality plastic is as described but I don’t think I really want this seriously for self defense and instead am just using it as a spare key ring. For this to be effective you HAVE to be able to land a thrust that will disable an attacker and I think I could land a punch or finger jab just as well. A metal kubatan simply is not ok for carrying in some places because security will definitely confiscate it but it would seem a lot more likely to get an attacker away than this piece of plastic. I trust my taser and mace more.

Bought this for my college daughter for nights she has to walk alone on campus or in parking ramp. I hope she never has to use it, but better safe than sorry. It's a great size - easy to hold in hand as you walk. Can put onto keychain, lightweight but I'm sure could do some damage (enough to give you time to run away). It can go thru TSA and it looks cute too! Highly recommend!

This product does not even come close to the photo in the product description.it's overpriced, I was really disappointed when I first saw it, its roughly an 3/16 inch thick ABS that has a badly printed sticker on the top and bottom of it.If anything, it should be about 7 bucks for it. Not happy with this purchase at all.
