Cloudrunnerz Golf Ball Finder Torch Retriever

Solid product, nicely packaged. I don't know that it will make you a fortune finding golfballs on a Links course. I tried and found none other than the one I stood on.

I was looking forward to trying this on golf balls but a new, quality Callaway golf ball was only highlighted as would be expected from a normal torch.Within the included instruction leaflet, it claims to "emit powerful UV at 365nm wavelength" and that it can "also be used for money verification ... " so I checked the Bank of England's website which states "A good quality ultra violet (UV) lamp that emits light at around 365 nanometres is best for checking the fluorescent feature on the £5, £10, £20 and £50 notes" ..... THIS BALL FINDER TORCH FAILS EVERY TEST!As far as I can ascertain (as a teacher of Physics) this is a normal torch and as such, is being sold under false pretences.I've checked the reviews left and it seems that there is a period between 2016 & 2017 when it might be the case that a different ('as advertised') item was being sold and shipped but the more recent reviews (and mine) suggest that the current product that is shipped is not the one advertised.The product's packaging including the case exude quality and I can see how people might be conned by this but if the main product fails in its primary function, it is no more than an expensive torch.

Arrived promptly with no issues.Immediately headed out to try it, with some element of doubt in my mind I must admit.Starting at the back of our tenth Green. Not much happening, drivable par 4 with not too much rough to scout around in. But did find a couple of balls and was totally amazed by how they jumped out at me.Carried on and walked down one side of the 9th and the numbers started to increase, rapidly!!Walked one more hole and the balls just kept appearing.Total count was 67 in no time at all, in less than 3 holes. In very damp heavy conditons. Still got 33 holes left to look round. Happy days.Would totally recommend this. I found 14 great condition premium balls. It's already paid for itself!****UPDATE****My second visit yielded 98 balls in just under 2 hours.Buy one now!

Bought this a few weeks ago with other items from supplier, the torch only works in low light, not good for bright light which is when I play golf! Returned the item and I am still waiting for my money to be returned!

Bought as a present for someone else. I did give it a test first and have my doubts as to how useful it is. As other reviews have said it works better in lower light, which is fairly limiting.

Great golf ball finder. The plastic ill fitting box containing the finder and accessories is very poor and lets the product down.

Very disappointed, basically an expensive glorified torch. Advertised as UV but i find no evidence of it being anything but visible light.It's advertised as making the balls glow, but it only lights up as much as shining a normal torch on it would and fails to actually pick out balls in thick rough.Also doesn't pick out the UV markings on bank notes either so very much doubt any UV is actually used.Don't buy this. I'm returning it.

Amazing torch lights up golf balls as if there electric. The flashing setting is also great, just sweep the torch around and when the beam hits a golf ball it flashes back at you couldn't be easier . Just make sure it,s dark or dusk. Very prompt delivery, great service.
