Very Nice Air Fryer. The Liners are a New Twist for Us. Timer Should Not Be Forced To Stop.
BOTTOM LINE:1. I recommend this small air fryer.2. It cooks very well. Crispy chicken nuggets. Awesome.3. Liners make it easy to clean.4. It's manual. Don't force the timer to end a cycle just because you are done cooking or ready for the next batch.USAGE:I really didn't know I needed an air fryer until we got one. This little cooker is finding all kinds of uses both with the cookbook, and without the cookbook.LIKES:- It does a great job blasting hot air over food to cook it.- I have used this to toast banana bread that was too soggy to enjoy. We have a gluten free (medically necessary) recipe that tastes good, but the banana bread comes out sticky. I popped a couple slices in the fryer, ran it for 5 minutes, flipped it, ran for another 5 minutes, and it was AMAZING. I melted some butter on it. This fryer gave me back my banana bread!- Broiling food is impractical in the oven. Too much heat, too much hassle, oven mitts involved. You get the idea. Using this gives us hassle free crispy broiled goodness!- The recipe book is great. I'm not much interested in recipes because I wing it as I go along, but my wife uses and likes the cookbook.- Liners! Makes cleanup painless. Buying extra liners is worth it.- It's small, as in I can take it when we travel!DISLIKES:- The timer has to be forced to turn off if you have set it to more cooking time than you want.- While I haven't had this problem yet, I can easily see grease or liquid getting splashed onto the heating coil. This will either burn or be difficult to clean.- The vent at the back of the unit blows really hot air. It concerns me that one of these days, something will get too close to the back, even the cord. We are very careful to keep plenty of distance from the back of the fryer to anything else, but this is a concern.- It's small, as in silicon liners that fit are harder to find.THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:This unit is strictly manual operation. On one hand, this is good, as no electronics can fail. On the other hand, you have limited ability to control this unit. The timer does not easily turn back to the off position. It feels like it is going to break if forced too many times. I have only forced it once, and I will not do it again. The solution is quite simple. I have a simple rule to turn the timer to the minimum time you think is required or simply follow the recipe. When you are finished cooking, turn the temperature off, but let the timer finish the cycle on it's own. Patience is required.UPDATES:None at this time. I will update this review with any changes or important additions should any arise.

Small, Easy Controls, Didn't Work
This is a small air fryer with nice controls that are analog and not digital. I can't speak to the quality of the cooking since I couldn't get it to work out of the box. The tray fits nicely and the nobs for temperature and timer are easy to use. The liners are a nice bonus and fit perfectly. Still, it is difficult to give this more than one star since I couldn't get it to power on despite multiple efforts and clearly following the small two-page instructions.

Smells like burning plastic
“Are you using the air fryer again? That's revolting! It smells like burning plastic! Get rid of that thing.” These are the words of my husband upon my second time using this air fryer. I was hoping the smell would go away but I guess I won’t use it again to find out. This air fryer is very basic. It has one timer knob which is also the ON function and you can’t force it to zero/OFF so you just have to let it run to time it out. Temperature dial is straight forward enough. Smallish basket that only lets you do small batches at a time. Is it worth the counter space for the little bit that you can do each time? I don’t think it is. I was hoping this would sell me on getting an air fryer but it has not. On to the next, I suppose.

Good Experience
I have had a varied experience with this Air Fryer. On the positive side, it is of compact size and has a small footprint on the counter, it heats up quickly and holds a consistent temperature. The issue we had with this air fryer is that it smelled like overheated plastic the first couple of times we used it, the smell was very strong, distinct and permeated the food.So we washed the basket multiple times and re-run it at 400 degrees a couple of times to see if it was temporary because it was just the fact that it was new. This did seem to make a difference after about 3 or 4 heat ups.The body of the air fryer is all plastic and does get somewhat warm (although not hot) whenever in use, this may be the cause, we noticed that on the pan that catches all the heat the trim piece attached to the front of this is plastic and may actually be the main source of the heated plastic smell when it gets heated. After about 6 heat runs, my wife says she doesn't notice the smell anymore and thinks the unit will work fine.
