Active Orthotics Superior Double Strap Maternity Support Belt Back Posture Support s- XL

This belt is a good design and good quality. My only problem is its too big for me. I followed the sizing advice and measured towards the top end of a medium however, its too big and gapes a bit at the sides. I had to sew some extra velcro on too as it wrapped around too much to do up. I know I could of sent it back for a smaller one but I was so desperate for the support that I couldnt wait and having followed the sizing guide was a bit disapointed that it was way out. Id recommend getting smaller than they say.That being said it does provide support when Im walking for more than 5 minutes and helps with my back and tummy muscle pain. I would imagine if it was a snugger fit it would be even better. The only other thing is its not comfortable to sit down in so is a bit difficult to keep taking off and putting on unless you wear it over your clothes which im a bit concious of. It rolls up small enough to fit in my handbag in between use.

I am in my 30th week of pregnancy and have developed a very painful pelvis and back. With 10 weeks to go and 3 more weeks of work left I can't imagine how I'd get through with the pain but my midwife suggested trying a support belt. She recommended the sort with an over bump strap as well as under so I opted for this one as it wasn't too pricey.I have found it helps. It sort of holds my pelvis together and the firm back panel keeps my posture upright. I certainly can tell the difference once I take it off.I'm 5ft and don't find that it's too long. The underside of the velco is a bit irritating so I wouldn't wear it directly on my skin but on top of over bump trousers and a vest top it's been great. And worth it even for just 10 weeks.

I am 33 weeks pregnant and starting to suffer from back and pelvic pain. Infact, I am very uncomfortable after 10 minutes walking.I am 45" around my bump so chose a large and this should last me until the end. Instantly I felt the weight easing on my pelvis and my back being supported.The only downfall is the velcro rubbing on my skin, under my bust. That was solved by wearing the support over a vest. For this price it's an excellent product

Great help in pregnancy. The only issue as others also pointed out was the upper strap. The top strap is wider and hence will be uncomfortable touching the skin (the pointy bits of the tap strap). Using a tissue to cover and avoid skin irritation.Otherwise good support. Also those with skin problems and skin rash or irritation on skin due to sore stretch marks will have to be careful. So use in last trimester

Very useful belt to own when pregnant especially of you suffer from back pain. It really does take the weight of your back. The only negative thing about it is that is quite uncomfortable when siting down, you need to adjust the straps so it can be quite tricky if you have it under your clothes or dress. I would still recommend it.

This maternity back support belt was just the thing I needed to help with my back ache and pelvic girdle pain. I am 33 weeks pregnant and suffering so badly with my back that my doc referred me for physio, but the waiting list was so long that I had to take measures into my own hands and I bought this instead!Absolutely amazing support for lower lumbar region, good over bump strap which is very comfortable. The bones in the back support are nice and firm and support my back well. I can sit down with this on too.If you are looking at this because you too are suffering then take my advice and just buy it! You will be glad of it!

Really helped me in my last trimester when i was Work or I knew I'd be doing a lot of walking. Is a bit obvious under some fitting clothing but overall brilliant item and think it's well worth it for the price

I have to stand up a lot at work and this support belt has been invaluable. It makes life much more comfortable and kept me on my feet and functioning longer than I expected.I would agree with previous reviews which say that the sizes come up small - at 33 weeks the top strap on the large belt now doesn't do up properly.

Good support, helped my back and my pelvis tremendously. Only criticism is that i feel in the final weeks it is a bit constricting so i have abandoned it with 11 days to go till due date. Top velcro strap is also a bit sore as it scratches your skin so always wear a vest underneath!

Very helpful in supporting my bump in the third trimester. Straps rub a little but a vest underneath helped. I could wear this all day and sit/stand with no problems.

actuall product is made of good quality unfortunately this only helped my wifes lower back (which she has no pain) and not upper back where she was complaining of pains. plus due to baby bump skin sensetive the strap that fits around the belly was uncomfortable for her, hence she stopped wearing it. for us not of use so wasted money and couldnt reurn it back as thought maybe next pregnancy she might be able to use it or we can give it to someone.

The belt support is good but can't sit with this belt on. I bought this for my wife to help ease her back during pregnancy and I was expecting her to wear this while commuting to work but this was quite big to be worn under her clothes and also she had to remove it every time she had to sit and wear it again when she stood up. So she ended up wearing it only at home while working in the kitchen.

Not very comfortable, but that might be just me. Good for the price. Not very practical and I feel you have to wear it over your clothes to be more comfy. I couldn’t sit in it for very long.

Whilst the belt does provide support which help get rid of some of the pain in my hips I just found it too uncomfortable to wear particularly if your day involves sitting for any period of time.

This is a great piece of kit. My back was so weak I though I wouldn't be able to continue working (I have to stand up in a busy clinic). I couldn't believe the difference that a piece of plastic with some boning makes! I now wear it everyday. It is very well made and a good price. I actually put the top strap under my bump too for extra lift and because I didn't like the feel of it over my bump - it felt like it was making my bump even more prominent. You'll need to wear a vest or t-shirt under it to stop the velcro rubbing. I would absolutely recommended this strap.
