The wife gets a better night's sleep without me snoring!
The mouth guards and storage box are of a very high quality, and the instructions are well written.I'm four nights in with using these and both my wife and I are extremely impressed. She gets a night without me snoring and I seem to get a much better night's sleep as I'm now no longer gasping for air or tossing and turning. The guard takes a little bit of use sleeping in, but after a night or so you don't really notice them. The only negative point I have is that I've found I do dribble a fair amount in my sleep with the guard in. For my wife and I this is worth putting up with to give both of us a decent night's sleep.Very impressed!

like me, your jaw tends to pull back into ...
My feeling about these mouth-guards is mixed and unfortunately I have had to discontinue use as I find the mouth-guard too uncomfortable to sleep with. I don't have any experience of other anti-snore/grinding mouth-guards, so I don't know if my niggles would be true of all mouth-guards. I'd expect I'd find that they do.The mouth-guard is reasonably rigid and holds teeth in position very well. Once they have been heat moulded to the shape of your mouth, the front 4 teeth top and bottom are held fairly well in place. If, like me, your jaw tends to pull back into an under-bite position to grind upper and lower jaw together, the mouth-guard stops that straight away. It is a bit 'squeaky' as you put your teeth in place which shows it has gripping power. I can't comment if the mouth-guard would stop snoring effectively for reasons given below. There are 2 main drawbacks for me in using these mouth-guards. It may be that I ave a smaller mouth than average or a bigger tongue or because I have a slight cold at the moment:The mouth-guard feels pretty bulky in the mouth and I couldn't find anywhere to put my tongue that was comfortable This was a big deal as my tongue wanted to be precisely in front of the air aperture in the front of the guard, which blocked breathing. I couldn't tuck my tongue under the inner shelf of the mouth-guard either as it felt too trapped.Once in place, I couldn't bring my lips to close around the guard without conscious effort, so as soon as I started to go to sleep, my lips and mouth dried out and I had to take the guard out to moisten them.Sadly these two facts combined to make it virtually impossible for me to stay asleep with the mouth-guard in. I am sure some will manage to with no problem, but I couldn't.I have used it during the day with some success, but since the main reason I wanted to try this approach was to stop snoring, I can't say it has been a total success for me. I don't think the product is bad, if I could get comfortable with it, I feel it would stand a great chance of doing what it is designed for. I think though for me it is too intrusive to use for sleeping.

Don't waste your money - most of the reviews here have been paid for.
I purchased this based on good reviews, seems the seller purchased the good reviews...If you have had these devices before you will be familiar with the concept, usually a solid plastic tray filled with another type of thermoplastic that has a low melting point. You put the whole thing in hot water until the thermoplastic softens then you put it in your mouth and bite down and push the softened thermoplastic against your teeth and gums, then you take it out and put it in cold water to set.The results are that you have something that fits your teeth perfectly and grips, previous ones I have used have required a little bit of force to get them on and off my teeth but the result is that they don't come out at night while you sleep, and the the pressure against your teeth is spread across all of your teeth evenly so they don't hurt (as much). These are a much cheaper made version, almost completely thermoplastic and impossible to get a tight fit against your teeth, even taking them to your dentist won't work as there is no 'tray' as in other devices.Don't waste your money on these, go to a sleep clinic or a dentist and get some proper ones fitted, or talk to your doctor. These are just cheap junk, I got in touch with the seller to see if maybe they had some tips to get these to fit correctly but never heard anything back.

Low price, poor quality item...I got what I paid for.
Very easy to order, arrived promptly, well packaged, clear instructions. Ordering process was a doddle. However, the product itself is somewhat disappointing. I've already had something very similar to this for the last 6 months or so so I was expecting the same quality. After placing the mouthpiece in boiled water, as per the leaflet, I found that the device had shrivelled, the material had bubbled and become quite rough to the touch (not something to have in your mouth on a regular basis), and I was unable to imprint my teeth and model it to my mouth. I tried to reimmerse the device in boiled water again but it still didn't reshape the way I needed it to. I'm very disappointed to be honest, so much so that I chucked it in the bin.

Takes a bit of getting used to
Takes a while to get used to it and it dries your mouth out in the morning so be ready to drink loads of water first thing! Also (completely my fault) don't wash it in hot water first thing in the morning because it will start to remould from the heat of the water! But it does the job really well, I am usually a serial teeth grinder and I'm also sleeping much better due to not doing it. Well worth spending a little more money and getting one like this rather than one that doesn't mould and isn't as comfy. Just takes a little getting used to, that's all :-)

A sleeping success!!
Product arrived next day delivery. I got this for my partner who found the moulding process straight forward but the fit was not great as she found the teeth guards were slightly large for her teeth. However she reports that the general fit is ok if a little loose. That said she has used it 3 times now with positive results. I think it's amazing as I've got to sleep through the night without being woken by her snoring and she's happy because I no longer repeatedly wake her up - THANK YOU. No mention anywhere of aftercare following use though.

¡no ronqué!
